If Bourn had gotten a hit there I'd have officially had to dislike him. That bastard should pay taxes in STL with how he's owned us.

Lynn looked better in that inning than he has all game. He looked balanced and worked with a quicker pace. I bet they pull him. I know his ptch count is up but I think letting him have a chance to work through this tough outing is more important than winning a game in May.

It will keep up Verci. No matter the negative spin you think of, fact is they ARE that good offensively

I'm not putting a negative spin on anything. I just understand that six weeks in baseball is far too small a sample size to completely readjust your opinions about everything. The Braves didn't magically turn into the best offense in the league overnight anymore than Rafael Furcal is really a .370 hitter.

Similarly, a lot of Braves fans are ready to jump out of the building about the pitching. It'll be fine.
 
I'm glad they left him in one more. Now sit him. He found his form the last 2 innings. I think that will pay off later.
