Of course the reds pitchers get their **** together for the braves.

They're playing well though.

Hopefully the braves can split the series

I hate the ****ing reds.

How can anyone hate the Reds? There's nothing there to hate. They're a vanilla team playing in a whitebread, generic Midwestern small city. They have no rivalries, as far as I know. Their last interesting player was probably Mario Soto. There's nothing grippy enough for hate to take hold of, is there?

Maybe Minor just isn't good

And Verc, I'm not concerned with a relief pitcher's WHIP over the course of one month. Don't sleep on Rex

Don't sleep on Rex? The guy is a 24 year old middle reliever for the frigging Colorado Rockies. He never started a game in the minors; he didn't close even in the low minors. He walks five guys per nine innings. His absolute upside is what, Eric O'Flaherty? You could turn Mike Minor into a reliever with at least that much upside tomorrow morning.

My apologies if you know him personally from Shelbyville or Lipscomb or something; I'm not crapping on him in particular. I just can't see any reason at all that I should be disappointed that my team didn't draft him.

Eric Davis meet Ozzie Virgil. NEver have liked them since I was a kid. Some teams you hate, and they are one of them, along with the cowboys, lakers, dodgers....

Haha it's not that serious man. EOF did have the lowest era ever last year though..

I know the cat, he has an awesome flat top.

I still remember last year when he said he could afford the luxury of taking the day off when the team had a 10 game lead in the wild card.

SMH

I've said this before, but I'd have a totally different attitude toward Chipper's aches and pains if there'd ever been a time in recent years when he'd tried to gut his way through an injury to the point where it really affected his performance. To the point where it was obvious that he just couldn't play with that knee/foot/toe/shoulder/elbow/whatever. But the way he goes about it makes it almost impossible to draw any conclusion other than that he's just not willing to play through pain very much.

I agree with you, totally. Some do, some don't. Larry is the latter.
