If you can't get enough of DEM BALLER VOLS, go on YouTube and watch the NCAA Diaries that utsports has up. Great stuff.

What do you guys think about Mark Cuban's comments about the NFL yesterday? Could they really ever run the risk of over saturation or can they just pretty much do whatever they want or play on whatever nights they want and have people keep eating it all up?

I like football. I do. I really enjoy watching the Lions (as one as much can) and I love UT football.

However, for the last three years I have gotten tired of it. I can proudly say I didn't watch one quarter of the Thursday Night games nor will I this year. It's ridiculous that during the start of baseball, March Madness, and the NBA playoffs/NHL playoffs starting that when I turn on the TV at 4 PM tomorrow NFL Live will be on talking about the dumbest ****. I find it ridiculous that the NFL still is the most talked about sport in the middle of freaking March.

So yes, to me personally I have cut down on my NFL. I have even on my games (I noticed that after Lions games I usually don't turn on football on Sunday till the NBC game and I haphazardly watch). I think more people will start to feel it.

You already see a steady decrease of attendance at NFL games. I know we live in the TV/social media generation, but I think some people have been turned off. JMO.

You're a Lions fan. It's a wonder you still own a TV.

The incredible human strength my dad has shown to still be a fan is incredible. He's dealt with this **** for 40 years. I've dealt with it for four and it drives me nuts.

It is kind of funny how roles have been switched though. To me, out of all my favorite pro teams, the one that sickens me most is the Pistons because they are a bunch of damned idiots (front office to players), while my dad gives them a continual pass because they've won three titles in his adult life.

<--- been out on the NFL for years. Only getting worse

Me too. I watch it, but only because it's on at my friend's house that I usually hang out with on Sundays. They're big Bears fans but I could honestly care less.

So from the first few responses, Cuban may at least a little bit on to something. Like z said, it's annoying as hell with everything that's going on this time of year that I spent almost 30 minutes this morning sitting through a McShay/Kiper "Draft Lab" segment and then a Gruden QB camp segment just to see what ended up being a two minute preview of tomorrow's Pacers/Heat game.

You will see more apathy if they expand the playoffs. The more mediocrity involved, the worse the product gets. Ask the NHL and the NBA.

Round 2 for big ERV today

"He's a competitor. He executes his pitches and he's a winner. He's not afraid of anybody at all." - Gattis on Teheran

Also, David hale has quietly had a horrendous spring.

I watched Hale last night. He did not look good at all. His mechanics were funky to me.
