Sure it’s a good move for him. Do you honestly see one of these true blue blood programs ever handing their sacred teams over to Lane friggin Kiffin? Auburn is the best option he will ever have to lead a big time program, whatever that means these days. And according to some on here, he would totally “kill it” at Auburn, so he has nothing to worry about. Not happening. It’s a little bit better job but a lot more bS to put up with. Alabama expectations and a little brothers mentality by the school and boosters it’s just not a good move for him right now.
When would you say he got bored, in a manner any other coach wouldnt take?Yep. There is a fine line between wanting something better for yourself and always thinking "I bet things are better over at XYZ. I'm going to go there." I think Lane is very rarely, if ever, in a content state, even if his current situation is really good.
I think he gets bored if his surroundings don't change often, like he has ADD or something.
I think his mind wandered when he left UT, when he left Alabama, wandered the entire time he was at FAU (understandable), and is wandering as we speak at Ole Miss. When would you say he got bored, in a manner any other coach wouldnt take?
He went from USC OC to NFL HC. That's a duh move for anyone.
He got fired with the raiders, not his choice to move so cant be blamed on ADD.
Came here after he was fired. Duh move.
Left us for USC, which was his alma mater and one of the few bigger jobs than us. That's a duh move.
Fired from USC, so he didn't get bored and wander off.
Picked up by Bama as OC, duh move.
Got hired shortly before being run off by Saban to FAU HC. Duh move for anyone.
Then left FAU to go to Ole Miss. Another duh move for anyone.
Except for arguably him leaving us I am not seeing anything that differs from any other football coach.

USC isn’t his Alma mater, Fresno is. That being said, taking a better job and doubling your salary is still a duh move. When would you say he got bored, in a manner any other coach wouldnt take?

Won’t happen. He is using AU to get a raise. He can’t beat Saban any way. I think Freeze is the guy but I don’t know if they can afford to pay his buyout right now.Sure it’s a good move for him. That Freeze buyout is like $40 million. I’ll be very surprised if they want him that bad.
