I have no idea what's best for him...and I'm fine with him choosing FSU as a better fit for him...it just ticks me off how he handled it all...

He obviously new for a long time that he wasn't coming here...yet his comments were "I'm still committed to UT but that will change"...and we're supposed to decipher what that all means....whether it is what it is or if it's a cute way to say he's coming here...

How about..."I'm no longer committed to UT...I'm chosing between school 1 and school 2 now"...that's pretty simple....

But no...he needed the attention of it all...now that's classy

I don't know why but I thought of this kid when FSU went on Probation. I wonder if he thinks he made the right decision 30 days later? And expecially with the horses we have running up his tail bone to block for.

From someone who saw him in person, I treally thought he was a little overrated. Word on the street in Memphis was that he wavered so much because Kiffin gave him a similar speech that he gave Boyd, bc he did not think he would cut the mustard so to speak. I think that OL at his school this year will be better.

good stuff, thanks for the update. I don't know how the old staff missed out on so many linemen with the small numbers we have. Although nothing that a few four and five stars can't cure after next year.

agreed. this guy was going to be Preston Bailey part 2. He was one of the guys kiffin was talking about when they got them on campus for the visit you could see who could handle it and who couldnt. Kiffin would have took since we need bodies but made it know to Phillips he might be happier elsewhere.

How can you guys seriously call this kid a bust already? If he were enrolled at UT right now, you all would have him penciled in as a starter by 2010.

Only way he would have been a starter here is due to depth issues unless he changed his attitude and work ethic as soon as he stepped on campus. You can talk to his coaches in Memphis including his own to know that.

Rumor out there that this guy might already be leaving FSU....couldn't cut it. Wasn't he one who got the "talk"?

This guy never had any business being a 4* prospect. If you want to mold a perfect OL prospect that could be labeled as "soft" it would have been him in last year's class.
