Auburn hires Bruce Pearl

I questioned Frank Martin move from Kansas State to South Carolina and now this one really has me scratching my head. I thought Bruce could of got a better job at Virginia Tech in the ACC. Best of Luck to Bruce though.

Might as well drag the black curtains out all the way to the first row. Have a place for ppl to warm their hands n assess, cause they won't be up cheering to use them . or even better just do away with the men's part of BB and only put the women in there, because this administration gave us a death sentence. We deserved better as Fans, there is no reason on gods green earth Bruce shouldn't be back here by the start of season. The AH on the hill don't have the balls to correct their mistake. But the guy from Auburn that was on the NCAA board when Bruce was taken,he now works for Auburn so now Bruce is good enough to coach ????? Tennessee you failed your fans that want excitment fun and wins out of our program. Now for sure the excitement is gone. Please resign Hart,Cheeks n give us some excitement without you !!!!!!

It's so...cute...watching the #bbb crowd finally figure out what the rest of us have known for months - that hiring their cult hero was an absolute impossibility.

I hate to be condescending about it, but you're right. It's amazing how outraged people are acting over something that just couldn't happen.

Hmm, do I take bottom dweller Auburn - within a couple hours of Atlanta. I could beat up on probably 12 of the 14 coaches in that league pretty easy.

Or do I take the bottom dweller VT. Everybody recruits the DMV and I've got to worry about Cuse, UNC, Duke, UVA, Pitt, Lville....


Easy choice for me. I'm going Auburn and not looking back.

Bruce loves Tennessee. If he took the Auburn job, it is only because he was certain that UT was not going to hire him. IMO.

I've said this a couple of times already but the only good news from this is:

I like our chances of poaching him from Auburn next year.

I respect BP as a b-ball coach and what he did for UT, but the bottom line is we have a huge game tomorrow night and really look forward to watching the NCAA tournament and Cuonzo's first-time coaching our basketball team in the NCAA's.

The news regarding Bruce's firing absolutely ruined our last NCAA game in which we were blown out by Michigan. Not letting this news ruin our first game in 2013.

Can you imagine what his Salary will be at Auburn. Can you image the buyout. Evidently Not.

CCM will be here another year more than likely. 90%, Plus, Extension and Raise.

We will eventually have to shell out the big bucks to get a coach that makes Fans forget about Pearl but only when it is time which is still TBD.

For CCM the jury is still out I have the feeling and who knows what will happen.

When he ends up at Auburn, if they fire him we will not want him anyway.

He will go into Auburn like he did Tennessee because that is what he is paid to do. So would can assume he will never coach at Tennessee again.

Holding Place for Tennessee No Way.

Just looked at the auburn stats... It's soooo ugly. Only 2 guys averaged 10+ ppg, one is a senior.. He gone, nobody averaged more than 6 rebounds or more than 36% from 3.
