Auburn vs. Oregon - Official BCS National Championship Game Thread

Please be joking... They lost on a last second field goal to a team who ran a train on the SEC.

Oregon has been talking smack about scoring 50 points and rushing for 300 yards all month. And there quick tempo was supposed to wear down Auburn ?????

I'm going to keep drinking tonight until tonight becomes a day that didn't happen in my existence as a human.

7-13 BCS titles go to the SEC

9-13 BCS Titles go to teams in the South East

11-13 BCS Title games had a team from the South East playing in it.

Ill never understand why Pac 10 teams and Big 10 teams think the best football is played in the North and West

*smh*

The Big 10 knows,

The Pac 10 will learn

Auburn won this game for two reasons:

1. Thomas played like a biatch.

2. Chip Kelly's arrogance.

I disagree. Thomas stepped up into a pretty fast collapsing pocket several times. Auburns defense had way too much penetration.

Either way my dream scenario is halfway there... Now the NCAA needs to come through and vacate this nc.

Yes. Not sure AA will pursue as hard now. Chances of Auburn getting just reward went way, way down.

Auburn loses and they'd have gotten the Memphis treatment.

But who would be team number 4? Ohio State and Wisconsin are not the calibur of these 2 so TCU beating Wisconsin is nice but I have a hard time seeing them beat Auburn or oregon.

Stanford? Of the one loss teams they seemed to be the most impressive even leading Oregon at one point this season.

Saban refers to Oregon as "we" when highlighting a play Oregon should've score on. Obviously rooting for Oregon.

I dunno. NCAA isn't really affiliated with the BCS. So, maybe they won't pull a Goodell-Belichick.

Oregon didn't eviscerate the Pac-10(sans Cal)? Because Auburn actually played in some tough games.

And on my TV, if Cam Newton wasn't making his best attempts to blow the game, Auburn wins by two TD's at least. Instead he chooses to miss wide open WR's for 6, fumble, etc.

With that said, Chip is a great coach, but right now he doesn't have the horses(Auburn defensive line had their way tonight). If he ever starts getting premier recruits on a consistent basis, watch out.

Doesn't have the horses? The game was tied with less than three minutes to play. They definitely had the horses. They just couldn't finish.

Cam Newton is a more arrogant Jamarcus Russel. No way he plays qb at next level

Like three hours before the game when auburn was doing their walk thrus, the team was huddled and he was standing with his 300 dollar head phones dancing around like a moron playing to the camera.

I cant stand that kid.
