'22 AZ WR Kyler Kasper (Oregon commit)

What do we make of Tate’s “Lead the way for us” quote tweet of Kasper that he posted and then deleted yesterday? Is it possible he thought Kasper was a Vol, and he deleted it when he found out Kasper was committing to Oregon?

Also wonder if the NIL money Kasper committed for will be used as a negotiating tool for other highly ranked receivers to get no less. Maybe that had something to do with his tweet idk.

Get over myself? Funny. I'm not the one whining about people calling me a troll.
I’m going to continue to make my own decisions when to participate in this message board. Your criticism is unwarranted and meaningless to me. Look at my stats during my time here. Doesn’t appear to be the stats of a “Troll”.

Without anything to back up this theory, other than the tea leaves available for everyone, I don’t believe we got out-NIL’d on this one. Oregon was prepared to take him in this 22 class while ours is earmarked for others like Bru. Spyre more than likely had him hooked up for 23 along with Tate. Babysitting him for a year because he won’t even be able to practice until Summer didn’t fit…JMO.

Maybe if you are 18 to 25 years of age. Anyone older that does it needs to get a life
Ehhhh you have 30k messages on a website with orders of magnitude less ability to influence the program in a positive way than those on Twitter. Don't know that I would be casting stones in the "get a life" category.

Best I can tell the average user here is like 45. Nothing wrong with that. But I don't think most people here have a gauge of what constitutes normal behavior on Twitter.

If Nico had a verified VN account and started a thread to interact with VN, would all of you seriously just ignore it? I highly... Highly doubt that.

Fwiw Callahan said reclassifying had absolutely no impact. We were even discussing it with him during the visit apparently.

On another non-UT boards, people keep saying Tennessee was dumb for offering Nico so much and now every player will be expecting a lot of money. Maybe they are correct after seeing this.

It's a great problem to have.

Guys that were interested regardless will come regardless.

Those that only became interested due to NiL rumors will now come talk to us...we'll make our offer and it will or won't work. But those are guys that weren't going to speak to us beforehand anyway. So it's a very low risk (time wasted?) vs high reward situation.

1.5 million for a wr for a receiver over 4 years is dumb, it'd tell them to kick rocks as well

He wanted 1.5 million and spyre wasn't willing to do that with the other wr's that we will be able to get. His dad is also an interesting character to say the least and would probably end up being a huge headache.
His dad was looking somewhat like a jabroni wanting attention imo

Read my posts. I didn’t state Nico hadn’t helped at all or will not in the future. Just maybe not to the extent that many thought. Thus his influence may not be as strong as many here were alluding to. It seems that you are the one overreacting.

So one player picks another team, and you take that and extrapolate that the "Nico" effect isn't there.

Yeah...you overreact.

I get that all these guys like to be around Nico Iamaleava but I am beginning to doubt he has any real pull with any of them. Kasper to Oregon and I would bet Tate picks OSU. That’s probably why we are scrambling offering every wide receiver with a pulse right now. Don’t get me wrong, I love having Nico but it doesn’t seem to be helping in recruiting much.
If you say so.

Where are you hearing $1.5? Is that total or a year? Also what stuff about his dad?
