There's going to be players that Tennessee doesn't think are worth what the player thinks they're worth. Teams will value certain players more than other teams. Same with free agency in the NFL. We obviously didn't value him as much as Oregon did.
He just committed relax… we will see how the class ends before you say “it doesn’t help” lolI get that all these guys like to be around Nico Iamaleava but I am beginning to doubt he has any real pull with any of them. Kasper to Oregon and I would bet Tate picks OSU. That’s probably why we are scrambling offering every wide receiver with a pulse right now. Don’t get me wrong, I love having Nico but it doesn’t seem to be helping in recruiting much.
I disagree. Interest is nothing at the end of the day of the recruits interested do not commit. I hope this was a one time occurrence and some of the higher rated recruits do commit but today was a big fat zero (Kasper) after the anticipation that developed within the last week with all the recruits being here together last weekend. I realize Kasper may change his mind his later but the details about the reclassification and NIL issues(if true) thru a wrench into the equation that most fans were not aware until today.Wrong. Nobody on here thought that just because we got Nico that we were going to get every big time WR. You just like to complain. It seems like you are one of the very few who cannot see the effect Nico is having on the program.
How many would we sign if zero were interested?I disagree. Interest is nothing at the end of the day of the recruits interested do not commit. Only 3 Wide Receivers have ever won the Heisman, compared to about 40 QBs. And no WR has ever won the NFL MVP. QBs are going to be valued insanely more than WRs. OLs are going to be valued to protect the investment of said QB. RBs/WRs/TEs are important. But they will never have the same value to a program as a QB will. There is no WR that is ever gonna come close to the value of a QB in college football.
