Dang, with 4 really good QBs on staff it would seem like a toss up, I don't care if a starter isn't named until August. Isn't this why they "play the practices" ?

I hate to be that guy but we don't have 4 really good QB's. We have 4 sec questionable QB's.

If true then we r bound to be avg under Dobbs..unless we get a huge run game going.

Qbs either have it or not and Dobbs proved he doesn't have it.. No way anyone can convince me he will go from missing every wide open rec to greatness n one or two years..

Just like everyone said worley would never be great same can be said with Dobbs..

Don't even being Peterman into the conversation.. Lol

Dobbs groupies slam away

So you assume no quarterback ever improves over their time at a school? Especially one that they were planning on redshirting until there were two injuries in front of him? Come on.

Most freshmen QBs at least have the benefit of throwing to experienced receivers, Dobbs didn't even get that.

All four QBs will have the chance to win the job, starting with practice tomorrow.

Pipe dream my friend.

I think Dobbs most likely starts the season 3rd string. 1 and 2 will likely be Worley and Ferguson. Or Ferguson and Worley. Who really knows.

Dobbs in recent months--and I'm trying to figure out why. He was a true freshman last year, thrown into the SEC fire, and while he struggled at times (maybe even a lot), he also showed he's got some talent. He's tall, he can run quite a bit better than Worley, he's got a pretty good arm. Of course the job is his to lose--the coaches would be stupid if that wasn't the case. Dobbs has got more talent than Worley--and he's much younger. Ferguson has no experience--and nobody knows what he's got. I very much doubt that the coaches are eager to again play a QB with zero experience. Will see how it shakes out, but let's stop the hatin' on Dobbs.

Thread title is very misleading, this was heresay and speculation on how Bajakian was talking to people. Kinda like a friend telling a friend after hearing it thru a pillow against a wall where the other people were talking.

So, highly-touted freshman that we were expecting to redshirt gets thrown to the wolves, had a tough round,...and now he sucks? Give the kid a break. There is a reason that he got all kinds of praise when he signed. The progression from frosh to soph is well-documented. I'm eager to see what both he and Riley can do this spring. Lay off the hate.

Well if that's true then we need to replace some coaches because they have no freakin clue...The guy can't throw 50 yards...FIFTY YARDS!!! :eek:lol:

The question is, who did Bajakian hear it from?

Im not hatin on Dobbs. Dobbs has more talent than Worley based on what exactly? The fact that he can run? The last I checked the QBs main job is to throw. Could be wrong.

Ferguson doesnt have the experience but from what I've heard and read he is supposedly the most talented QB on the roster. Time will tell we shall see. We can sit here and argue until the cows come home but none of us really know whats going to happen.

We will find out here soon who's looking the best,Practice starts today.

I think most people look at what Bray did as a freshman and are comparing it to what Dobbs did.

Right now, They're all tied. Coaches have made that clear. They all have flashes but still too inconsitent. I personally think we won't find out till late August.
