Baltimore Unrest

What a respectable human being you are.

Glad you noticed. I see what side of the fence your on. I respect people that work, at least try to help themselves, have regard for the law and other people, and take responsibility for their own actions.

What drives me nuts are the people who keep trying to defend people who are criminals. It's a fairly easy concept...if you don't commit crimes, you don't get arrested.

This guy right here has never committed a crime ever. Let's all give him a golf clap, everyone.

Not only that but how many businesses will say to hell with this place and either move or take their insurance money and go home?

In that area it's predominantly small businesses that live there. That's their livelihood. Many can't leave. The mayor is about as incompetent as it gets. The governor insinuated that he was waiting for her to request a state of emergency but her arrogance had her believing she could handle this. Her pride caused this.

Not good. Rioters/Looters now have elevated positions over LEO on the street. Throwing objects at officers below.

She's getting roasted on Fox..... Not just by Hannity..... Everyone is questioning her lack of action and the decision to have a curfew starting tomorrow.... It's like she thinks they'll tear up some sh't and get it out of their system tonight and that everything will be ok tomorrow.

I haven't brushed his death aside as collateral damage or acceptable behavior by LEO. Someone will talk and reveal the truth in that scenario and if they are responsible, then they will be accountable.

I've said it before. The change has to come from within the community, it's leaders and the parents of the at risk youth. Be a parent, not their buddy/friend.
What pisses me off is that the black community does nothing when a black child kills another black child. They're silent. But they come out of the wood work when they can get air time. The crime, gangs and drugs must be fought by the community in partnership with law enforcement. I've seen it done.

That hurts from someone who has to make up a story about being at a chicken wing party.

I sent you an invite! Didn't your grandkids pull up your email for you this morning? Oh well, I'm just glad you missed me so much you had to circumvent your ban to continue this great banter. :)

I thought the same thing. I think she let those kids believing they could vent their frustrations. If that's the case she needs to resign. She's a failure and embarrassment.

I'll put the phone book back on the table.
The problem in Baltimore highlights 2 things i have been pounding my fist about for a while. First off, the black community right now is a dumpster fire. The reason why is because liberal policies from the last 50 years have removed fathers from the home and made women dependent on the govt to feed and raise their children. When you have no man in the home, these are the thug spawn that are created. And as lonng as we continue to subsidize broken families, you will never shut down the thug factories.

Next, this country has too many laws and we zealoously enforce too many laws. Until we get to the point where only violations of life, limb or property are actively enforced, instead of incentivizing cops to generate revenue and harrass poor people with nuisance/petty offenses, then the perception of cops will never change and will always be a confrontational relationship. In addition, cops are way too quick to resort to lethal means on the most trivial of offenses and slow to react when it comes to reporting bad cops.

Cops and blacks have a long way to go. Liberals enable the bad behavior of blacks and social conservatives enable the bad behavior of cops.
