Baltimore Unrest

I'd be willing to bet there are outside people that came in.

Not all mind you, but I'd bet not all of it is local based.
I was kidding. Yes they do bring them in to initiate the violence in the community. I've seen how it works personally when I lived in LA. riots and protests and more organized than people think.

Free money .

What "liberal policy" of "free money" caused black fathers to leave the home?

I agree that fatherless households are a huge problem, but I'm not getting the "liberal policies" part. That is a nice buzz phrase, but it doesn't translate into anything real.

CNN reporting how the looters/rioters are now in their cars and driving aggressively and appearing to almost plow into the officers line before suddenly stopping and returning back to their original positions. No shots were fired.

The thugs that are attempting these tactics will end up on the wrong side of the gun if they continue this. Someone is going to break ranks and react due to fear of being run down.

I would say drug laws have removed fathers from the home. That and them leaving on their own.

not speaking for Ras but I believe he was referring to the continual escalation of benefits that substitute the government for a bread winner.

Many fathers deserted their families after WW 1 and Korea which put stress on single family households. Once the welfare program and public housing was implemented over time it produced complacency which passed on from generation to generation.

substituting the government for bread winners.

promoting a victim mentality

celebrating and enabling single parenthood

bottomline - good intentions don't always have good consequences

What tripped me out was all those kids roaming the streets and I only saw one parent find her son and smack the crap out of him live on television. The chief just said he wished more parents would take control of their kids.

That's all good and all that, but where was his father?

Gotcha. Well to be honest, what jobs are left for these poor communities? I think that is pretty much how the future will look like for alot of people anyway. We are not going to have to depend on a human workforce.
