Someone made mention that these guys are better organized than Ferguson. They are in small units and quickly move from place to place to evade police response. The only way I see countering this is to have a massive manpower response by the state. If not they can just keep popping up at random.

Good thing they cancelled school today so 1000s of kids are available to keep the party going.

Probably ought to pass out bolt cutters so looters can break in easier thus keeping them calmer.

I said the same thing last night. The school system was damned if they did and damned if they didn't. Wouldn't want to be in that position.

On Baltimore: why is no one holding the media accountable?

They have been blatantly and irresponsibly pushing a black vs. white agenda since the last election results and have directly lit fires in Ferguson and now Baltimore with impunity.

Reporting the news is one thing; intentionally creating civil unrest by a sustained campaign of selective reporting and narrative fabrication is something quite different.

Divide and conquer is the new American way, I guess. I urge everyone to stop taking what you see and hear in the media at face value.

These are not reporters concerned in delivering true and unbiased news reports! These are corporate interests with specific political goals.

They want you distracted, they want witch hunts and they want you fearful.

I do not aim to discount the lives lost a the center of these tragedies; they were all senseless and avoidable.

The plain truth is that senseless and avoidable things happen to people of all colors everyday.

Media corporations have vast information and unlimited choices in what they choose to broadcast; there are so many good and fascinating things happening all over the world.

But they're not interested in giving us this information. There's nothing in it for them.

They are political mouth pieces and are working against the American people; dividing us so we are at each other's throats. The only colors you are allowed to see are red and blue. And, that, I take issue with.

I disagree. IMO, major black leaders in the USA should get together and call for this violence to stop. There has been a tremendous amount of progress in my lifetime, however this type action accomplishes nothing other than setting race relation back several years.

I have always supported LEO'S, however during the last year there has been way to much unnecessary force with most of it being used against men of color. It is time we clean up our police departments. This case and the case where the cop shot the 51 year old man that was running in the back were murder,imo. The officer that ran over the guy with his police car was also way over board.

Their needs to be a movement to clean up our law enforcement officers but rioting is not the way to do it.

I'll disagree with your disagreement to a limited extent.

People like Al and Jesse are not going to help the situation. I do agree that leaders should be calling for an end to the violence, but those two couldn't lead a kindergarten class to the bathroom without inciting racial tensions in the process.

You give them too much credit. What you suggest sounds logical on the surface, the consequences of such would lead to a far different outcome than a quell in looting.

Unless you really want this to occur in every city in America. Executing American citizens without a constitutional right to a jury trial is asinine. Also, you folks make jeebus weep with your willingness to have his children killed over stolen Old English and rock chucking.

Somehow I'm not surprised though.
