@USATODAY: Just two-thirds of black residents reported a positive experience with Baltimore police, a survey found: Baltimore's history of mistrust: 'When police come up, everybody runs'
Lol "just 2/3rds"? If 0bama had the same approval rating, the media would declare him "best eva"
What did you have an issue with?
The tangents he went off on about her appearance first off. I honestly don't care if she has a tattoo or a wig or whatever. And he kept using the term "assault." Not buying it. We don't know what he (the child) said to Mom to set her off like that. I know if I said certain things to my mother I'd be knocked upside the head so this very well could be the same case. He's basing her child rearing skills off a thirty second video and little more.
I understand if she had children by several different fathers. Don't agree with it, but it's life. But she was trying to keep one out of trouble. And dragging him out of a crowd where he could have been hurt or injured had the police actually reacted. Good for her.
I think that TJS gets lot of things right. But I think in this case he should be applauding her efforts to keep her child from becoming a victim instead of focusing in on her appearance and actions.
This is typical behavior. You look at it as him making a snap judgement off of a 30 second video. I understand it for what it is... I see it everyday. He sees it everyday. If you don't have any interactions with black households, you perceive it differently.
Trust me, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, its a duck. The way that mom appeared and acted said all I needed to know about her decision making.
So are you saying she should have left her child out there to riot? Or not smacked him silly had he called her any number of potty mouth names?
No, I question why he was out there to begin with and why the job of retrieving a child from a raging riot was left in the hands of the mom instead of the father.
Cause and effect.
You and the rest of the media want to applaud her for being reactive and dealing with the effects. I question how proactive she was in helping to prevent this and causing the problem.
I just read an article that's claiming Gray had neck surgery as recent as last weekend and it linked to a Maryland court case website. It has a case number as well and it was a civil case between Gray and Allstate involving a structured settlement.
The slant was that Gray may have been previously injured in an auto accident and had surgery or surgeries on his neck.
I haven't seen links to actual documents, so at this point I'm wondering if it is propaganda.I just read an article that's claiming Gray had neck surgery as recent as last weekend and it linked to a Maryland court case website.
