Bama player appeared to hit woman as he left the field…

I don't hate the Vols. I hate people who can't make a rational decision because they can't see past their own biased opinions. I hate people that will make every excuse in the book of why the rules don't apply to them. I hate people who can't imagine taking responsibility or suffering the consequences of doing things that will possibly jeopardize their safety and those around them.
Like a football player hitting a co-ed in the head. Right?

He shouldn't have put His hands on Her. It wasn't a punch or slap. I used to "mush" my little brother all the time when got to close to Me...put my open hand on His face and push Him away. She shouldn't have been on the field. If the situations were reversed y'all would be defending the Tennessee player, let's enjoy the victory and move on.

No.

You're wrong.

Would absolutely not defend a Tennessee player if he hit a co-ed unprovoked. Ever.

Stop with the moral equivalency. It isn't always orange tribe vs crimson tribe. Sometimes it's just right vs wrong.

I'll disagree from my standpoint, I wouldn't defend whoever it was. I know he didn't knock her head off, but he reached to hit her. Pathetic coward of a sore loser, and a little sissy man to strike at a female. I'll stand by that if it was our QB doing it

In defense of the argument that the fans should not have been on the field, if Alabama had played better, and won, the fans would have stayed in the stands.
I could see defending himself or protecting his person but the dude initiated it. The girl was walking by after she avoided him. He needs his a$$ beat, he is a pos.

Like the co-ed being on the field period. You can keep trying, but there is no defending it. She was wrong. Just like everyone else that was down there. If fans are not on the field, it doesn't happen. UT is paying the price for it as we speak and I'd be willing to bet that this whole situation, that has been blown monumentally out of proportion, will be the end of fans rushing Shields-Watkins field.

I literally led off with He shouldn't have put His hands on Her. There's no moral equivalency. She should not have been on the field. If She wasn't it would not have happened. He had what ?! 40k 50k people around Him after that game..everyone is still emotionally charged. Let them get off the field then do your thing.

Do you hit women? Cause you won't even condemn that, you're 23 pages deep blaming a girl. Says a lot about you.

Well what would you expect!!
First, it like all such incidents, are a stampede.
Second, this or any player of a losing team just wants to get the hel- off the field and to the dressing room.
Third, contact with crazed fans is/should be expected.
Fourth, THIS IS WHY IT IS A RULE VIOLATION TO STORM FIELDS OF PLAY AND TEAR UP EQUIPMENT. SAFITY FOR ALL CONCERNED.
Did you watch the video? No one impeded his egress from the field, the girl avoided him. Everyone, including Alabama knew if the Vols won the field would be stormed. He was walking off, in no hurry because he wasn’t threatened in any way. No justification for hitting the girl or girls and to say there is, in this instance is BS!

Player is going to be suspended or possibly kicked off team. You don't put your hands on people plain and simple. During the game yes. After game no. It's called grow up and be accountable for your actions.

It's amazing that we have several defending him, especially since it's clear he went out his way to hit her. I'd say they're defending their own domestic abuse charges deep down.

Eh. I'm always a little disappointed when people suggest a large person (or a guy) can't feel fearful.

He's outnumbered 49:1 (rough guess) by a mob that is dressed in opposing colors, has a target on his back, and security has broken down in pockets. Some people are going to feel very worried in that situation, rationally or not.
You win. Dude was skeert outta his mind.

In what way does slapping a girl in the back of the head as you walk by reduce his fear level.

Or even make sense as a dear response?

I'll hang up and wait.

I don't hit anybody. Your argument doesn't hold water, fella'. It's clear this guy didn't punch her. He swiped her phone out of his face. Take your orange rage and focus it somewhere else because you're going to be even more pissed when nothing happens with this.

You just proved that you haven't even watched it. Her phone is no where near his face, it's by her ear, and he reaches out to hit her. I hope you calm down before you get around any women today.

You do know there are two different videos/instances right? One is very obvious a phone swipe which you describe. The one involving the girl, not sure how you could explain that one.

LOL. I can't imagine having so much rage over something that is going to amount to absolutely nothing. Especially when the young lady shouldn't have been on the field to begin with. But hey, you be angry boss.......LOL

That is utter BS! You don’t hit females, period. She was absolutely no threat in any way, shape or fashion.
