He was afraid for his life, extended his arm and a female UT fan made contact with it. Would love to hear these guys call an MMA fight.

I hope Burton didn’t say he was afraid for his life. Can you imagine being a 6 foot, 200 pound SEC receiver and you’re afraid a girl with no weapon is gonna take your life? I mean that’s laughable. I really hope he didn’t say that. If he did, that’s softer than him hitting the girl in the first place.

The video did make it look like she loomed over him. I mean, he did appear like the pissant that he actually is. It is entirely possible that his measurements are as inflated as his bad ass-ness.

I had a whole crew of frat boys in my face after the 6-3 game in 2005 but I didn’t punch any of them or fear for my life. He hit that girl because he thought he could without suffering any consequences

Someone should ask Saban what his threshold is for suspending players hitting women. Is it two? Three? Four? How many can they hit before he puts his foot down?

I mean if it’s legal to slap people into a daze and only have to take “anger management” classes with no real repercussions…

Then UT could get a few of the backup D line to go slap the **** out of opposing teams star players before each game.

Then UT can just “handle it internally”.

Since it’s fine to assault people now.
