Bama violations, again...

That is thin ice and one can only venture out so far. The ice will probably support this: saying that Alabama will wind up on some sort of probation for this thing is like saying Florida will be the preseason favorite to win the SEC East in football in 2009. The appearance before the COI doesn’t guarantee probation, but it would be hard to imagine another result. And when people ask if this is “serious,” that, to me, is serious.

I have said this before Tenn. boosters are the ones who made the inquiry into this investigation....

If you take out bama then you can get back into the national scene. People think I'm crazy. If this turns out to be more than anything than a slap on the wrist then people in the whole state of Alabama need to look at who your real enemyies are. It is TN. boosters and Miles Brand. I here this all the time and I live in Knoxvillle.

Ridiculous and hilarious at the same time. Because he lives in Knoxville he has an inside track to all the booster info.

Of course Bama is only in trouble because of UT, too. :lolabove:

A bama fan at my office keeps telling me that "UT is stirring up all this again, to get us in trouble!" LOL!!! It's UT's fault, brilliant.

Anybody heard anything else about the Bammers selling their books? Haven't heard anything lately and there isn't much new to talk about.

last I heard,it was going to cost them some scholly's...but that has been a few weeks. It's kind of died down now. Sure hope it doesn't get swept under the rug.

*yawn*

You guys have almost become Burner-esque in your Bama's-demise-is-near wet dreams.

But by all means, carry on. :)

Nice avatar. Is that the new Bammer look? And who's Burner?

They are very creative these Bama fans. That is one of their names for Auburn.

Here are a few more gems to add to the list of their creative names:

The Barn=Auburn
Barner=Auburn fan
Lame Kitten=Lane Kiffin
Vilenation=Volnation
UcheaT=UT

I'm sure there are others.

What game is that photo from? From what I'm seeing the Vol fan in the background looks bemused at the bag head guys like yourself.

I just realized why bammers have a fascination with grocery bags.

Some of the N.C.A.A. allegations date back six years, when Gene Stallings was the head coach. The N.C.A.A. alleged that a booster in 1995 promised a recruit $20,000 to sign with Alabama. The booster then made cash payments in a grocery bag and in a big envelope, the N.C.A.A. said.
