You spend all that time on these three seasons and didn't realize Bama doesn't claim any of those three? Great analysis, sport.

ut claims six of the seven listed on the ncaa site, including the '67 campaign that is recognized by Litkenhous and ... and... and..., well, that's about it. And then there's the 1940 championship on ut's website recognized by Litkenhous and Dunkel.

Alabama's clearly more discriminating than the ncaa, claiming only 12 of the 17 they show. None of the three your crack "analysis" takes to task are claimed. ut claims six of the seven listed:

i find it amusing that the Bama fan who is trolling a vol board the week of the Bama game is astonished that TN fans are, shocker, questioning the validity of the 12 NT's that they claim....

and for the record, there are several bama fans that post here regularly that are pretty decent to have discussions with...

my advice, don't troll on a tn board expecting TN fans to not respond.

Every year, the venom of this week here at the Nation reaffirms for me that Bama is the most bitter rival on our schedule.
