I think every fan base complains about officiating. But they never seem to realize how unbecoming it actually is. At the game tonight it was apparent the atmosphere was super charged and officiating was going to probably be an issue during the game. Vols clearly won and calls probably equaled out. Just not riled up or offended by the losing team blaming officiating. It’s done after almost ever sporting contest and not enough money available for me to ever officiate anything!

Guess I missed it, which ref missed the field goal to go ahead late in the game? You know, the 51 yarder? Which ref called penalties when we only had 15 seconds to get down in field goal position? Oh, that's right we made two phenominal plays that YOUR Defense couldn't stop then we called timeout and kicked the game winning field goal that your Defense couldn't stop. Oh, I see.

hate to say it but wife (a bammer grad) laid a lot of blame on refs
she actually turned off game when Vols were lining up for knuckleball into the crimsons' crotch

Alabama had plenty of chances to win that game, was there questionable calls and missed calls for both teams, for sure.. I’ve never meet a fan base who has won 15 years straight and still cries after losing.. They can’t handle losing we whooped them at the Line of scrimmage, hooker threw for over 300 yards and we rushed for over 150 yards.. Bottom line is we won and Alabama didn’t capitalize on there opportunities.. For the ref to cheat they sure did have a chance at a gaming winning field goal… GBO!!

So rich coming from a programs that owes so much to the SEC refs and their contribution to Bama’s SEC titles. Maybe, when the entire SEC bitches about calls not made against Bama over X number of years, there’s something to it and the SEC refs are finally acknowledging the problem.

I'm surprised that the PI was called at the end... but it was CLEARLY PI. Keyton was held on a critical overthrow earlier in the game. Bama's OL is notorious for holding and didn't get called.

They were simply outplayed and out-hearted.
