Alas, my background check is delayed by administrative backlog. I got to see and handle my SP101, but I could not bring it home. They will call me when I can pick it up. I made an appointment for 11/14, just in case.

My missus is going to love this gun. :cool:

I identify politically as non-binary (disgusted/ appalled/ horrified)

It would be interesting to watch a race like you describe. Won’t happen for eons though with the way candidates are currently chosen and crowned.

I’ve actually considered getting one myself, as I really enjoyed my limited target shooting lessons, but it feels too much like giving in to the hysteria. Edit: Sorry, that was rude; I know that people have genuine concerns. It just doesn’t move my needle in our current situation.

If anything, I might one day want to take up bird hunting, especially if we get a retriever of some sort. Also fly fishing. That’s probably it though, as I’m too soft-hearted in the mammals department. #Species-ist

She’s also really good at skeet shooting.

I don’t hurt anything I’m not going to eat.

I hope it happens, although I’m not sure I want to be around for it. We’re coming up on 250 years from the revolution, and it appears historically that they’re needed to shake things up and keep a nation and citizenry vital. Definitely messy tho.

All I know is that our dreams for a peaceful retirement, floating through Europe on a Viking River cruise and piddling around in a small RV, have kind of gone kablooie.

I fully support people hunting for food. We’re part of the ecosystem, after all.

I'm just too much of a weenie when it comes to big brown eyes.

And yes, I do eat beef and pork, although I’m moving toward paying extra for those raised and slaughtered humanely. I fully understand the contradiction.

If you hunt with a 30:06 you are too far away to see their eyes. Problem solved

From my perspective, I bought a couple of things this year that I wanted for a while but were nowhere near needs and I specifically bought those items because of my experience of having lived through a decade when I was unable to buy similar items in my 20s and early 30s due to Clinton's assault weapons ban. So, I guess I did some panic buying but I regret none of it.

Any one own a bullpup shotgun if so what do you think about them. I love the small size for home defense
