(Basketball) Just for fun. Which would you take?

right, I can definitely understand the case for option 1. The divide definitely seems to coincide with the age, I can see where the older generation is all about now.

Well, I would ask another vol fan how it feels to see your team win a final four, but there isn't any that exist. I think if you ask the same question pre Pearl era it would be unanimous option 1. No matter what age group you ask. Seeing UT have success during the Pearl era makes it easy to forget how difficult it can be to keep UT at the top of the SEC year in and year out in BB.

Exactly why I chose option B. I would rather have back to back good NCAA runs and feel that sets us up for sustained success more so than a final four followed by a NIT appearance.

I'm in the young age group and I'd rather have a final four appearance than to get Looney, who may not even pan out as well as we like. As for this year's roster not being as talented as next year's with the addition of Looney. I'd disagree, we have a lot more veteran leadership this year than we would next year, veterans have better decision making.

Not always the case, Cal has proven you can win with young talent.

Yes.. But Cal recruits elite players. It's honestly just a matter of opinion. I just think we have quite an y advantage this year with leadership from McRae, Maymon, maybe Barton.

We definitely have leadership, I just think stokes and Richardson could be those leaders next year. As you said its all just a matter of opinion.

Bad timing, my friend. Didn't feel so bad about turning 30 a few months ago...now it's looming on the horizon and I am actually starting to feel not young.

Nah, I just turned 30 a couple months ago and it's no big deal. I know I don't feel like an adult yet, so not sure when that happens.
