BCS Championship Game Thread

bama's offensive production alone (without turnovers) only net them a TD and a FG i believe

and without turnovers inside the like 10, they only scored 2 TDs

The thing I'm saying is... you can't say the offensive gameplan would have been the same had Texas' offense been potent. It would have been more competitive with Colt in there, but I still think Bama wins.

Bammer gave Texas the ball on the 30 yard line twice on turnovers, with Colt playing, and came away with two field goals.

colt played 3 plays of the first turnover and you can't seriously say they don't score from the 1 yard line with him still in instead of the freshman who everyone and their mother knew was going to have to hand off

the second one was all on the freshman

Well...two picks weren't really the quarterback's fault. They hit the receivers in the hands. On the fumble, he got no blocking from the back side.

Those sorry ass bammer jackasses are doing the "we just beat the hell out of you" chant. I hate those bastards.

What is that I hear again? S-E-C! S-E-C! S-E-C! S-E-C! S-E-C!

Right; they're saying that now so that they can come back and say how much better their program is than ours right now....they'll claim at least 10X better

enjoy that for 8 months, cause it doesnt benefit a 7 win team like us other than some money

I can't stand it either. It saddens me that some of our fans rooted for Alabama due to the whole conference affiliation thing the SEC is so enamored with.

Screw Alabama.

McCoy is a wuss and did not play for fear of hurting his career in the NFL. What a let down to his team.

As you have seen, a great defense will take you a long way. That's exactly what we will have in the next few years.

Bama ran it more and more slowly, but it was still pretty much that same offense you saw earlier in the game at the beginning

if he's in all game, i'm certain that texas gets TDs off those 1st two turnover drives that put them inside like the 40 and at least another field goal

I dont think bama would have been able to win a game they had to score high (like in the 30s or so) to win....(of course, dont compare that to the 37 that the last 14 of which came off of as garbage points);

I think texas was really coming out juiced like they were in 05 based on the beginning, but it was kinda like if they had just lost vince young against Southern cal

Not really sure what was so great about Texas in the beginning. Bama made some idiotic mistakes that should have allowed Texas to put a boot on their throat. They couldn't.
