the best thing about the this is that florida is not in the top 25!! :salute: It also goes to show that nobody really knows how the BCS works bc everybody predicted that Boise State was going to be #1.

here's a link to the list:

NCAA College Football BCS Standings Week 8 - ESPN

1 Oklahoma
2 Oregon
3 Boise State
4 Auburn
5 TCU
6 LSU
7 Michigan State
8 Alabama
9 Utah
10 Ohio State
11 Missouri
12 Stanford
13 Wisconsin
14 Oklahoma State
15 Iowa
16 Nebraska
17 Florida State
18 Arizona
19 Texas
20 West Virginia
21 South Carolina
22 Kansas State
23 Arkansas
24 Mississippi State
25 Virginia Tech

Thoughts:

First, no ACC team should appear in that list. My guess is that by season's end none will. And if there is one, it won't be FSU.

Second, I am still rooting for BSU-TCU matchup because it will no doubt hasten a playoff.

Still maintain that Boise should be #1, getting cheated by the establishment.

Yeah those impressive wins over New Mexico State and Walker Texas Ranger Academy really back up that Argument. LMAO... Oregon State and V. tech are loaded too.

V. Tech being ranked at all is a flippin JOKE. You can't be ranked after losing to James Madison at home, and then again to a Mountain west team in yor home state, even if it is Boise....JMO

If they're in the East, then 10-2 is a very reasonable expectation. If they were in the West, 9-3, 8-4 could be the expectation.

With Tennessee's schedule, I'd see Oregon, Florida, Alabama, and LSU as losses.

No way UF beats BSU with the way they are playing.

If BSU were in the SEC east this year they would be going to to Championship game.

Possibly, but this is probably the worst the East has been in my lifetime, and it's still no guarantee they make it.

Boise would win the division this year but I think that's the only time that will ever be said.

Boise is fielding what may end up being their best team ever and the east is absolutely putrid right now.

South Carolina being firmly in the drivers seat says all you need to know about the SEC East.

How many big games have they won with only a week to prepare? Oregon State, which isn't that big of a win.

It may be the most certain, but they could absolutely drop games to LSU, Florida, South Carolina, and maybe even Georgia as well.

Petersen can coach circles around les miles. Other than that, they would take Florida and Georgia to the woodshed, and USCjr would need something resembling another Bama game to take it. Garcia would have to not ruin it for the cocks.

Even then, 6-2 runs away with the east this year and even 5-3 would likely win it.

Coaching circles around Les Miles in no way guarantees a win at Tiger Stadium.

And say what you want, but other than Oklahoma in 2006, all teams listed have considerably more talent than anyone Boise has ever beaten. LSU and Florida probably have more talent as well.

Take UF to the woodshed? I know they don't look like a good football team right now, but their talent alone would keep them in it. Remember, they'd be coming off a game against Oregon.

Although plenty of coaches can coach circles around Les, he still manages to win.

If Dooley can come that close to beating LSU in their house with that team, Petersen could damn sure do it with his boys.

Have you seen florida play this year? Boise would curb stomp them.

And re: Georgia, dan Hawkins already beat them. Dan Hawkins 2.0 would obliterate them.

.

I've seen nothing to make me think Boise could succeed in playing at LSU, at UGA, Bama, @ South Carolina in a stretch and go 3-1.

The only team they would have more than a week to prepare for is the one most likely to beat them.
