Deus,
See if you can visit Andechs monastery brewery in Bavaria - outstanding stuff!
Another gem is Domhof brewery and biergarten in Speyer Germany.
:good!:
It was delicious. Doppelbock Dunkel. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Think I may have another in the fridge. The cool thing about over here is that the little mom & pop "getrankeschaft" I go to to get beer brings in beers from all over Germany.

Although, I never knew anyone that had trouble getting them at the gate from sellers whose friends/family couldn't make it. Hell, I burned 2 tickets to the 12 south winter warmer because my ahole brother got drunk the night before and we couldn't get to the event soon enough. No one was there to buy tickets any more and it cost me more than a $100.

As you can tell by my av, I'm pretty damn excited.
I absolutely think it can, right size IMO. We are scrambling to catch up with Asheville, but their size will limit them, certainly not their fervor. I wish someone would really fix the requirement of a distiller's license to brew high gravity beers. That's what TN is missing IMO. No real way to make DIPAs, Barleywines, RIS, etc. That's where the giants in craft beer distinguish themselves, with the exception of sours and a few others.Nice, I know exactly where that is. I think Nashville could be a nice craft brew city if they get the tax thing fixed. What do you think, could Nashville become the Portland or Denver of the South one day?
