That's a pretty solid choice, good example of a Belgian dark (quite different from stout, if that's what you were getting at). I like Tremens quite a bit, it's finding its way into more and more tap rooms and bars up and down the west coast. Definitely a nice development.

If you were a fan, give a go with Trappistes Rochefort 8 and Trois Pistoles.

I will definitely give it a try. Thanks!

I am trying to lose a few pounds so I bought some Coors Light yesterday. Forgot how awful cheap beer is

Actually that is what I've been telling my comrades, brought over a suitcase full for them to sample. My cuz just discovered a small little experimental micro-brewery like the article mentioned. I'll have to check it out next time I'm over there.

The krauts are long overdue for some change and variety, their stuff is good but limited in range and been stagnant.

Finally we have broken the strangle hold that prohibition's shadow had on us. :peace2:

Been busy:

OK VolnTitan - I think what I meant about Beer form is less about the beer itself. Did try new Blue Moon Amber Ale, didn't bother showing the over chilled glass, I think it is more about the service :)

Govols/cc - actually sat next to a guy drinking Bud Lite. We didn't even realize we were supposed to argue. I think there is hope for beer snobs and non-beer snobs to get along. Maybe the secret to world peace is have the leaders meet over a few beers at Twin Peaks. :p

Milo - tried Stone Expresso Russian Stout, sorry, kinda like the Yeti Stout better. Guess I like the chocolaty style Stouts.

Polished it all off with a classic Two Hearted Ale. Can't go wrong with a Bells. Also tried Sam Adam's New Albion. It was OK.

Pröst Fellas! Enjoy the weekend!
