Beer (and beer pics!)

as someone who isn't a beer drinker, every time I taste beer I think, "wow, that tastes like ass".

quality of the beer doesn't matter either. To me, Black Label tastes just like Guinness.

What is "Black Label" (never heard of such a beer)? And, Guinness is overrated, in my opinion.

There are "better" beers than Guinness, in a Pepsi Challenge sort of way. But there are no better beers. It's the finest session beer in the world; it's also about the best hangover cure there is. (Rinse and repeat.) It's low in both calories and alcohol. I love the big modern IPAs, but Guinness is like a mother's cool hand on the forehead.

It's taste, so it is subjective. However, I would take a Boddington's or a Beamish over a Guinness, were I to reach for a stout. I'm not too concerned with calories or ABV, so the fact that Guinness is low in both is of no consequence to me.

Boddington's is not a stout. If you enjoy it, then I can see why you think Guinness is overrated, because you are not its intended audience.

PBR is good

What he said.

If the first taste is bad just keep drinking & it gets better. That's for any beer.
