Both are excellent. I was in GA last week and they already had Narwhal, Founders Breakfast Stout and Imperial Stout. None of which have made their way to middle TN yet. I wonder what the hold up is?

That Apple crap is horrible. Tried one tonight, about made me sick, maybe it was the sugar , just a hint of Apple would be nice, but reds apple ale taste like sugary sparkling apple juice with alcohol.

just opened up my first one. really like it. nice and strong at 9% abv, but taste is great. saw it has really high scores on beer advocate

I'm a big fan of stouts and porters, so this is right up my alley

Keep your eyes and ears out for the Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout. It's very hard to get, but if you like stouts and you like bourbon, you will have found the jackpot.

Will do! Thanks for the advice.

This thread being bumped reminded me to open up another quality beer

KBS is gone till spring unless you find someone willing to do a trade. The regular Founders Breakfast Stout is starting to hit stores now.

CBS is great, but you're not going to find that on a shelf. While I love KBS, the regular breakfast stout is a staple in my fridge when it comes out.

Long time lurker on the board and finally decided to create an account. Love the craft brew discussion on here. I visited VT a few weeks ago and was able to get my hands on some hill farmstead and heady. Would be awesome to have that kind of selection in TN. On an unrelated note I'm sure some of you guys are also whiskey drinkers and was curious if anyone has any idea when east TN will get their shipment of BTAC

We have a good selection of stuff, just don't have Heady or Hill Farmstead. That said, they don't get alot of stuff we do. The grass is always greener :)

I agree, with some of the recent additions like Dogfish Head and North Coast and Bell's coming next week TN has a very good craft beer selection. I would love to be able to get heady though. I heard The Alchemist is building a new brewery. Wonder if there is any change they expand their market?
