At 18% abv this raspberry Belgian ale is a monster, but the raspberry flavor can be a touch overpowering and it's quite boozy. It's still an interesting drink though. A half growler of this can put you in a fun place.

Just had it. It's actually pretty good, not as boozy as I would have expected. I've had that and a Backwoods Bastard and I feel pretty good.

It was the best of the night with the Gingerbread Stout coming in a close second.

This place has more craft beer on hand every night than any place in Huntsville/Madison. It was a complete accident I found the place

Potsguy knows more than me. I live in West TN, but I had been given a couple of the beers from Cigar City and really enjoyed them. I had the chance to visit Tampa last month and went by the brewery. It is literally down the street from Raymond James Stadium just off Dale Mabry. Good stuff.

I also brought home a couple of beers from 3Daughters, which is in St. Pete. I had one that was decent as well.

I had talked about Shock Top's Twisted Pretzel Wheat before but you could only get 3 of them in a sample pack of 12. For a limited time they've been selling them in 6 packs now. It says limited edition but I'm hoping they'll continue making it. It's the one good thing shock top makes.

The west TN people need to get together. I think the Craft Beer Society of West Tn is having their first meeting tomorrow night as a matter of fact.

Picked up quite a bit of Astronaut Status from Wiseacre last night. If you like BA Imperial Stouts, this one is fantastic and made right here in TN.

A friend gave one to me as well. Probably will try in the next couple of weeks.

Anyone had El Coco? Same friend let me try it last night. It is a collaboration from Cigar City and 5 Rabbit. Probably not for everyone because it has a coconut flavor. But I thought it was fantastic.
