Beer (and beer pics!)

I was pleasantly surprised, or even shocked, at how good the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Tropical IPA is. Seriously, one of the most delicious IPAs I've tasted. The sweeter fruit notes balance the bitterness of the hops to perfection, IMO.

I started to grab some yesterday but opted for Enjoy By 2.14.16. I will go as far to say that this Enjoy By is on Heady's level.

Evil Twin Imperial Petit Four Porter, Red Brick Divine Bovine Chai Tea Milk Stou, Avondale Black Saturday Stout, Straight to Ale Laika Imperial Stout, Brother Joseph Belgian Dubbel, FullSteam Cack-A-Lacky Ginger Pale Ale on tap tonight...............gonna throw down

Picked up a Pick-Six Six Pack from Kroger:

Guinness Draught
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (Excellent)
Samuel Adams Boston Lager (Excellent)
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat (Ehh)
Sweetwater Blue
New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale

Anybody ever been to Brazil? Going soon. I know they have beers like Brahma but wanted some darker beers there too (I know their selection will be much lower than ours)

Xingu is darker. I've had it a couple of times. Nothing to write home about, but it's not too bad.

Had a Bourbon Barrel Aged Country Roots by Tennessee Brew Works last night, it tasted more like a sour or a Flanders Red than a BBA beer. Not too bad at all. They had it at Hurry Back.

Kappin have you tried any of the Hutton and Smith stuff from here in town?

They have some really good IPA. They have a red rye IPA on tap at U-Joint that is really good.

Know it's more of a bigger brand but anyone tried Founders All Day IPA session ale? It's very good. Maybe my new everyday beer.

Got my hands on a Bacon Smoked Porter from Sweet Water Brewing. I'll report back once I throw it back. Probably save it for the weekend.

Just got a 6 pack of Bell's Hopslam. Don't know much about it, but I got a notice of limited distribution from my local store. Tried a sip when I picked it up and, I am looking forward to drinking it this weekend.

Grabbed a six of Hopslam yesterday too, and a couple four packs of Bigfoot.

I tried it last week with 3 other "dessert" beers and thought it and Blue Pants' Double Stuff were the best. I ended up buying the Double Stuff.

Haven't had the BP double stuffed yet......the brewery is right here, so I probably should drop by there and try it
