Beer (and beer pics!)

Drinking Inversion IPA from Deschutes

Had Guinness Nitro IPA and Modus Hoperandi last night. Not a fan of the Guinness one, but what do you do when the wife orders it and won't drink it.

Toppling Goliath's Double Dry Hopped Citra pseudoSue. Limited release variant of their already amazing pseudoSue. It's perfect. I can't wait to get my hands on a Galaxy Hopped psedoSue.

Where do you get it and when? I am traveling to Iowa in July and already have a plan to find some Toppling Goliath.

Just picked up Modern Times Orderville IPA and Stone Enjoy By 7/4/16 IPA. Stone has become enormous but I always pick up the Enjoy by IPAs when I come across them.

Toppling Goliath can be found at most HyVees...if you're lucky. The DDH PseudoSue was a limited release. They just released a Galaxy Hopped PseuodoSue that I don't think will make it to distro. I got lucky and bought the last two at a bottle shop. The best bet is to travel to Decorah and get it straight from the source. Stop at Pulpit Rock, too, which is across the street. Take in the Norwegian heritage and outdoors. One of my favorite places to visit within 5 hours of me.

I'm a huge fan of sours. Like really big fan. Une Anee out of Chicago is doing great things with their Le Seul series.

I had the Le Seul VII (Mango) again tonight and it was amazing. I also had Stone Enjoy By 07.04.16 and Founders Rubaeus.

Creature Comforts Tropicalia lives up to the hype.

great beer. almost always get it when i can, but that's rare here, as every beer store in my area that gets it runs out almost immediately.

Creature Comforts is a very damn fine brewery in general.

and speaking of Athens, GA breweries, I highly suggest Terrapin's new Watermelon Gose. My new go-to summer beer. Extremely refreshing and tasty.

Unfortunately, I am traveling in multiple vehicles to a family reunion. I won't have the freedom to travel to many places, and we will be on the opposite side of the state on Lake Okoboji. I will just have to find some local stores to see what they have. Any other good brews up there? On the way, I am going to try to find some Avery, Boulevard, and Firestone Walker. We don't get those in west TN.

I don't know much about that area, other than it's beautiful.

Une Anée Le Seul VI (Elderberry). Wild Fruit Ale. The Le Seul series is probably my favorite series of beers at the moment. Sour, but not too sour.

Yazoo's embrace the funk series is putting out incredible sours and wild ales

Was able to score a Toppling Goliath Golden Nugget brewed with Mosaic hops tonight. Went looking for the Galaxy-hopped pseudoSue, but people bought cases of the limited release before I was able to get there.

Piggybacking on my last post... I was able to get Toppling Goliath Thresher IPA but missed my last chance at Galaxy pseudoSue. They're bottling King Sue today, but it's not going to distribution. Wah-wah. One of the top 5 beers in the world.

Order of Yoni

European beer made with "the essense of woman".

Isn't that a great, modern looking bottle?
