Hit a lot of breweries in Asheville last week:
Sierra Nevada is so cool. I think my fave was the Easy meets West IPA.
Also hit Twin leaves, Bhramari, Greenman and others.
Honestly the Ballast Point Even Keel session IPA out of San Diego is blowing me away right now!

We are going next month. We plan on going to Wicked Weed, New Belgium, Burial, and maybe one other. Location is part of the selections. How would you compare Sierra Nevada with the others?
The Sierra Nevada one is like the Beverly Hills of breweries. Pricey tapas but the beer and the atmosphere are insanely cool. Its by the airport outside of town so its a trip to itself but well worth it. We hit Chimney Rock and went there on the way back to town, made a great day!
Thanks. Just not sure if we have the time to travel out since we will be within walking distance of the others. I had read that New Belgium is state of the art as well. Too many decisions.
Look what I found tonight!
Had Crooked Stave Nightmare on Brett Street and also their Provision Saison. Both are stellar.
Crooked Stave is quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries.
I've got a passion fruit sour in the fridge. Hard to pull the trigger on Nightmare for $30/bomber.
Buy basement and that transmigration of souls next to it. They are both damned good.
If you can find the raspberry Nightmare on brett street, buy it. I had mine the other day and it was one of-- if not the-- best sours I've ever had.
