Yeah, always looks like he is ready to rip the interviewers head off. I always thought the scowl should be saved for the other team instead of the media (although some deserve it) and the fans and media should see the coaches calm and in control side, but that's just me.

60 might as well be 80. Byrd wasn't seriously considered last time due to his age, he hasn't gotten any younger.

Did Hart target any football coaches that were in their 60s?

So let me get this straight....

Those that say Martin could take this team to the sweet 16 were bashed saying he's never been to the tournament no way he can go that far.

Yet you're saying Pearl, who's never made a final 4 or recruited a top 5 class, would win multiple NCs and recruit at the greatest level ever seen in CBB?

Ok.

You're making it too complicated....let me help...they're saying that PEARL took the Vols EVERY year to the NCAA TOURNEY...as opposed to Coach MARTIN, who has taken the Vols to the NIT (First round loss) EVERY year so far...yeah Bruce topped out at Great Eight with some wrenching last second losses...you're right...we'rebetteroff...sooo let's just make the tourney and go for that Sweet Sixteen...it'd be ALMOST like the first time...I'm sure Bruce would stink at Chapel Hill...we're way off :)

How many did they shoot??? I went to UNC to see MTSU play them one year and the Tar Heels shot nearly 60 FTs.

if CM was really smart he'd bring in Byrd and steal his offense from him. Don't have any idea why you'd stick with a 20 yr old stagnant offense when you can watch a team move and cut enough that would give your skilled players opportunities to shine and open up room for your average players to look good offensively.

I doubt that's an indicator of what kind of FT shooting team they will be this season. If they have either McDonald or Hairston (especially Hairston) they win that game I think. Shouldn't be a huge concern going forward for UNC.

No I agree. I'm just saying you can't missed all those free throws. I think it was Tokoto that was 4/16 from the line. I think they'll be fine like you said. It's not like Belmont is a scrub anyways.

Yeah, Belmont is a perennial giant slayer, plus Tokoto wouldn't have been shooting near that many FT's if McDonald were starting. I hope UNC gets those guys back soon, a competitive UNC makes for an interesting ACC.

I agree. I like that Roy isn't giving in just yet and reinstating PJ. I think he'll be out a couple more games. Still think they're a 5-8 seed in the tourney.
