He has been the guy I personally would love to see come here. He is the most proven available not tied to anything head coach available if the Bruce return is not an option. He had his problems with the powers that be at UCLA for not keying in on local high school players in California....but the man can coach.

And what other available coach has Final 4 experience out there :question: Plus he shows a lot of emotion unlike Lurch that we have coaching the team now :birgits_giggle:

We will go after that big name Major coach that has a good run in March like we also do, we hit a home run with Pearl, he came from Mid Major school.

Hes not a better coach than Pearl. He is more accomplished, not better.

If we can't have Frank, Howland is choice two for me. I think Howland and Barnes are similar by both coaches having great jobs making tons of money and then getting extremely comfortable. Its just Barnes paid attention when ppl talked and Howland didn't.

Considering a coach is judged on his accomplishments, then yeah, Howland's a better coach than Pearl. Or are you suggesting Pearl isn't a better coach than Cuonzo, just more accomplished?

Use google and see what hes done at that D2 school in 5 yrs. They keep talking Rick Byrd. He was at LMU and left for Belmont. Took them from NAIA to D2 to D1. Plus Schertz came within 5 pts of knocking off Cuonzo in an exhibition game 2 yrs ago. Funny UT cancelled that series.....or is it sad?? Or scared?

And Indianapolis beat Pearl at tennessee in an exhibition game, does that mean their coach is worthy lol?

I'm sure he's a good coach, but that would be a horrible hire to Tennessee.
