Best Whiskey

looking forwrd to getting something..got the confirmation email, telling me to expect something in a few weeks

I think I will have to give up hard licquors. If you can handle it, more power to you. But I think I must go back to one dark beer a day or one red wine. Blast me if you want to, my brothas, but each man must find the way that is best for him. The other stuff is just too much gasoline and matches for me.

i've been signed up for about a year, and haven't gotten anything except an email saying that my barrel is in the warehouse.

Trust me brother, I have it on pre-record. I watch 'em on Thursday after being recorded.

Btw, prayers for me, me and some friends had to get some Natty's last night. Wasn't good, wasn't good at all.

Friends of my son left some Nattys in my house ... out of boredom/desperation I cracked one and was sippin it ... poured out a bit on the back patio for my dog to taste ... she just gave it one sniff then started rollin in it like it was road kill or somethin :eek:hmy:

true story

My favorite bourbons are Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit (Single Barrel), and Blanton's. For less expensive ones, I usually go with Bulleit or Maker's Mark, all on the rocks. I like regular 101 with coke. I went through the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY a few years ago; that was great, and they have a store with lots of cool stuff.

I also like Crown Royal and Chivas Regal, both on the rocks. Single malt Scotches I like neat with just a drop of water.

Jack on the rocks. Woodfords reserve, Makers, Turkey etc. will suffice, but I like the "bite".

I'm drinking Kentucky Spirit right now. Never had it but got it for my dad for Christmas. I love it! It's spicy - has great flavor. But is well rounded and smooth. One of my new favorites.

Next up is the 2010 old forester birthday bourbon

Yeah, I don't like it. I bought a bunch of the old bottles before they switched.

I don't like it either, but I understand why they did it. The label is "cleaner" and less busy and I think it stands out better against other brands on the shelf. It caught my eye

Very new to whiskey drinking. As stated earlier, my favorite is Bulleit. My wife accidentally bought me Bulleit Rye. Don't know much about Rye. Can someone explain the difference and does it go better straight or mixed with coke?
