Weren't you dissing CUSA as a weak conference about a week ago? Now, all of a sudden, these 2 teams account for "quality" losses.

Next you'll be expounding the greatness of Rice basketball. Wait a second, Texas only beat them by 3 last week. Maybe you will begin to realize that there are some decent teams in CUSA not named Memphis.

What? You didn't realize beating a Texas Tech team that is probably going to get Pat Knight fired is an indicia of excellence? This is much like DePaul being a quality win for Tennessee last year. When South Florida is sitting 12th or worse in the Big East, we'll have a good laugh at this one.

Dayton and Xavier went down.

VCU lost to the probable 14th place finisher in the Big East. That nonconference schedule keeps looking better for UT. The awesome performances by Charlotte and Memphis tonight show how awesome the rest of the home portion is going to be. I just wish we could get a shot at that awful Wisconsin offense.

BPV, please quote for Hat my responses in his defense of his statement about UNLV over on the Around the NCAA thread. Truly hysterical he believes that his defense is even somewhat valid.

The SEC 4-1 on the night, with Arkansas beating Oklahoma and Vanderbilt looking very strong in crushing WKU. Still a bad night when one of your few ranked teams loses to an unranked team. Good call TennesseeFan07.

Vandy beat a Western Kentucky team with a 3-4 record that's stuggled with Davidson and Hofstra.

Delaware State was still in the game with South Carolina with 10 minutes left to go in the 2nd half, and Alabama beat a 2-4 South Alabama team.

Yeah, MHF, real impressive.
