Better SEC

I'm waiting for MikeHamiltonFan to change his name to JeremyFoley/BillyDonovanFan

Yea. I liked the article about how UF is "hanging tough with top-tier teams." They clearly are making progress; hell, Ohio State only drilled their ass by 20 on their home floor.

Ole Miss desperately needs to win at Miami tomorrow night. Dayton getting skulled at Cincinnati this weekend put a dent in the Rebs' profile.

They're looking pretty good so far considering they are playing the Heat. Oh, what's that?

Miami 86 Mississippi 73.

All is good, LSU beat a toothless Cougar squad from HOuston. And, Auburn beat Georgia SW.

Those OOC wins just keep adding up.

The SEC west has some good athletes, but there isn't a
good coach in the SEC west of Nashville. We are lucky to
have a great coach and leave the land of the basketball
dead or dying.

I still think we will have a better OOC record than last year.

I massively overestimated Alabama. Their coach has been worse than Pelphrey this year and you cannot talk me out of that based on results so far.

Miss State is a stupid team to talk about until Dee and Sidney are there.

They could struggle mightily and then win the SECT. Would not be a huge surprise. By that time I expect UK and UT to have great seeds locked up.

The west will be a bunch of easy pushover games except for Miss. schools.

Sidney? Is he in the "obese" range yet? I doubt he can even run the floor. He's been the most overhyped player in basketball history in terms of not even playing a game in 2 years. That said, State should run away in the West this year. If not them, Ole Miss. 3-6 will be beyond awful.

Sidney looked like a 400 lb. monster last year. Wonder if he is actually in basketball shape?

Apparently he needs to get inside and quit throwing up 3 pointers...

He has been called overweight since 2 years ago when he was 18. He also apparently plays like an old Antoine Walker.

Here he is at 260 and fat even at 6'10 because he is not carrying lean muscle weight.

Great most thorough article on Sidney.

He was up to 312. He is now back down to about 275.

If anyone thinks Dee Bost, who is no more than a decent player, and a guy who hasn't broken a competitive sweat in going on two years are all a team that just lost to a middle of the pack Sun Belt team at home need to excel, they are going to be wildly disappointed. Once those guys hit the floor, it's still pretty much the same team that missed the NCAA Tounament last year. You're simply trading Sidney for Varnado. If the guys playing now don't rapidly and vastly improve their performance, State is screwed.

Anyone think Florida goes down tonight? Also, why the heck are they playing a road game at American on Sunday?

Florida is playing an undefeated team UCF team with a victory over a pretty good South Florida squad.

I still think they will win.

What about the results of the Bulls season says they are not strong at all?

They lost to Southern Miss and UCF (on the road) and almost beat BYU for their third loss which happened in two overtimes. They just beat Texas Tech.

You are right though, they are another St. Peters team...

UCF has some talent but that record is pretty inflated so far. Florida is coming off a big win over FSU so it could be a trap game. UCF will finish close to 4th in CUSA.
