ZJC I do not see that at this point.
Auburn is worse.
There is no clear evidence that any other SEC team is worse.
Kentucky may be worse, just really good instead of great.
Arkansas is better.
South Carolina is not proven to be worse yet.
Georgia is better and is winning without their best player.
Vanderbilt is better.
Tennessee? I think they could certainly be better.
Florida is better even with the scare against Morehead and the loss to Ohio State.
Ole Miss and Miss State? Miss State could end up going in as a 10 seed and getting to the Final Four with Sidney and Dee Bost.
South Carolina will improve.
Ole Miss will be fighting to make the tourney.
Kentucky will not be as good as last year.
Tennessee has shown no indication to be better next year (might be though with time).
Not buying Arky at all.
Vandy is Vandy. They'll be the same.
Miss St. won't make the FF. They'll make the tourney. That's it.
Florida is Florida. They'll be a little better, but won't make the Elite 8.
Alabama won't do any significant damage (Grant will have that program turned around in the future).
I just don't see any Final Four team in the SEC, and it wouldn't surprise me if none of them make the Sweet 16.
What I said about Arkansas is they will be better than last year. I feel the same way about LSU as well. Neither will make the tournament, but both will have more wins overall even with Arkansas probably having less in the conference.
Auburn is so bad it makes me angry they are in the conference.
Alabama had one loss that is excusable and one that is not.
Interesting to see that you agree that South Carolina will have more wins (or at least I think you do based on your better comment).
I was ripped by many of the posters in basketball here for saying that despite losing Downey, South Carolina would win more games overall.
Just to clarify, what was the point of this thread? Yet another long posts by Mike Hamilton fan that provides nothing of worth.
By the way, some people would say six SEC teams in the tourney are good, and while that's a plus, nobody in the SEC looks like a FF contender.
