Better SEC

Hip Hip Hooray for memphis' meaningless ranking!!!

Agreed. But the meaningless statement was referring to the asinine comment "The West is so bad this year that even Memphis could win it." I just figured one pointless comment deserved another.

And Im going to Waffle House on Friday. Its legit.

Great opportunity for the SEC to make a national splash. Winning Maui and the NIT would be huge.

While Mich St struggling against chaminade and losing to UConn certainly doesn't change anything about the Big Ten being the front runner, it does perhaps raise some discussions about the Spartans. Izzo has always scheduled tough in the non-conference portion, and historically has his program playing at its peak come tourney time. I think the shock of these two games is that with their experience at the guard spots this year, most thought they would roll early on. I have no worries about State, at least not yet.

Michigan State never leaves their best basketball in November. When it comes money counting time, they'll be just fine.

All rankings prior to February 1 are pretty meaningless. Just guess work by a bunch of talking heads.

You do realize the #2 team in the country struggled against Chaminade last night, right?
But you used your current ranking to support you in your assertion that Memphis could win the SECw.

Good win tonight for Ole Miss over Penn State.

Miss State looked crappy winning in OT.

Freaking Arkansas has an awesome recruiting class coming in, but cannot beat UAB in regulation. Kind of funny though to read people say that multiple C USA teams could win the west.

LSU is not going to contend in the West and Memphis struggled with them.

1) There is never such a thing as "Ole Miss beating Penn State is a good win." For the 2nd best team in the west to beat the 2nd worst Big Ten is in no way an accomplishment.

2) That is what happens when you don't have a good coach. You lose games you shouldn't.

Beating Auburn or Alabama is not a big win. Both of those teams suck hard core and that has been proven already.

It was the first loss for Penn State. It may not hold up, but at this point it is a good win. Not a great win like Villanova, but a good win.

I have a good feeling that when Ole Miss' resume for the tourney comes up, Penn State won't be a bright spot.

UTC,
Auburn sucking will not be the reason I am wrong about our OOC wins/losses if I am wrong.

It will be more like UAB beating Arkansas and then what is SHOCKING to me, that Anthony Grant is actively fighting to make the Crimson Tide worse than Auburn.

He has to be one of the worst coaches in CBB so far this year.

Five freshmen playing their first away game in the 3rd game of the year. Tigers will be fine by March.

This makes the CUSA vs. SEC count at 2-0 so far.
