I have been in connect with people who have lived rough lives and didn't think there was any hope...However ONLY by the grace of GOD did they turn their life around...God can intervene in someone's life. That person has to want it.

thats the way it was in the old test. in that time things were diff, i'm probably more like that now. i need to be more forgiving and i'm working on that

From the historical perspective it means exactly what is says.

It was the basis of their law.

If someone took and eye, the person would be compensated for the worth of their eye.

It was not a literal taking of an eye......

There's only one way to really find out but I'd say no. I believe that salvation is available to those that are not Christian.
