Why would you feel like this. That may be your reaction, that may even be his intent, but as a Christian our beliefs are rooted in faith and comments like this from others should have little effect on us.

I've tried many other ways my friend. Just read some of my other posts. Sometimes its best to give it to em stright up, hard truth. That is the case. No reason to sugar coat it for him.

This is for Emain or any other non-believer. Not that this is the reason I believe, but have always wondered how non-believers reconcile the non-belief when using something like Pascal's Wager? Can any of you comment. It is certainly a purely selfish way to come to God, but nonetheless at least a way and I am not sure how non-believers still would choose not to believe.

A pretty easy answer for me. I am fairly knowledgeable about the Christian faith, and when it comes to what I would consider "faking it" for lack of a better choice of words, it is pointless. If I am wrong in my thinking that God does not exist but I continue to believe it, and I worship anyway, God will know that I do not really believe. I think that Pascal's Wager is extremely flawed when measured up against scripture.

It is so sad that you think like this PJ. You think Hell will be all fun and games? You think it will be an enjoyable experience. I really hope your mind is changed, and you come to know the lord and savior Jesus as he loves you.

If God was to have made those types of things impossible on Earth for us to do then we would be no more than robots. He wanted better for us, thus we have free will to do as we please. Thus there is good in the world but the downside is that there is evil too. Call it what you want good/bad, yin/yang, good/evil. It is all the same concept and it is inherently human. If there was no evil there could be no good!

Not sure how it is flawed. There are 2 options, each with 2 outcomes. 1 of the 4 will be an outcome.
