I live near the Honey Island Swamp. I would like to know more about this swamp ape down here? Is it a Cajun subspecies?
It is a very complicated topic and I am far from an expert - but I will try to answer your questions if you are genuinely interested. I know people that could provide specifics - I can not. I believe that they all likely share similar abilities most all live in family clans but they can vary pretty dramatically in facial appearance. Most clans in say Washington state, Tennessee, etc, have a more human facial feature - whereas the ones in the deep Deep South - Florida and La. Are called swamp apes for a reason. Think South Americans vs. Scandinavians. I haven't talked with a lot of people in La.
The Cajuns are a very superstitious peoples. The swamp ape sightings, in their minds, are either a swamp ape, demons, loup garou (French werewolf), rougarou ( person Possessed by a cannibal spirit), or the work of bad vodoo.
A species of advanced ape, I can see. But dogmen? C'mon man[/QUOTE
I know far less about that topc - but to be fair there have been many sighting. My study is with the forest people - I have been too busy to devote much time to it the last 3 or 4 months. I am pretty well networked - with the majority being Native American witnesses in remote forest locations. There is nothing that I say that I don't believe to be accurate and correct.
I agree that's it's very plausible an upright intelligent ape species could be living, or at least recently lived in the US. The stories are far and wide and stretch back thousands of years with a good consistency. Main stream science will scoff the idea until they have a body, even then, who knows. They still try to sell us the theory that the Americas were populated via the land bridge regardless the substantial and abundant evidence of Chinese traveling to the Americas via sea for thousands of years, certain inca, Mayan, and a few other South American descendants have as much as 40% Chinese DNA still in their make up todayA species of advanced ape, I can see. But dogmen? C'mon man[/QUOTE
