Biggest Tearjerking Scenes in Television and Movies

-Walt finds Jesse in a heroin den, Jesse breaks down, and Walt rescues him in Breaking Bad.
-Maggie walks out of the prison holding Judith and Rick realizes Lori is dead in The Walking Dead.
-Jesse gives his "I killed a dog" speech in a NA meeting on Breaking Bad.
-Mulder tells Scully "You are my constant, my touchstone" in the hallway outside of his apartment. She replies "And you are mine" in The X-Files. Favorite scene ever.

The scene at the end of the movie Colors where Robert Duvall dies after getting shot by the Crip gang leader

I liked how in the end Sean Penn acted exactly like Robert Duvall did when he got the rookie partner at the end of the movie.

Los Angeles like New York City is overused for Crime Drama tv shows and movies but this a one that sticks out along with Training Day.

Movie: Air Bud
Josh can't keep Buddy the golden retriever because the legal owner has the owner papers that has abused him so he starts crying, says why he can't keep him as a pet along with lies to persuade Buddy to leave, throws a basketball and leaves.

Also a Basketball coach shown abusing a basketball player by throwing basketballs at him plus yelling at him.

A Dog's Purpose.

Never had a movie grab my feelers like that one.

I've already watched it 3 times and it got me all three.

It's worth it.

I'm a diehard fan of Full House a sitcom that has great moral messages, believable likable unique characters, and real world problems including why the mother is deceased, a kid that breaks the rules, peer pressure, etc.

Full House: Stephanie gets revenge on Gia by having a poster in School of a Hall which shows exactly why she had to repeat a grade.
Mocked for her failed grades she is hurt so she puts her face in her locker crying because her feelings were hurt which Stephanie sees because after saying "So Gia, I guess we're even." And she sees Gia with tears after turning around, and not a surprise she does feel guilty and negative because she has a good compassionate heart.

The saddest scene in cinema history imo. This scene always rocks me to my core How did Liam Neeson not win the Oscar.

That scene has always stayed with me. I'm reminded of it when I want to buy items for myself that I don't really need and think about others I could help.

I have felt the exact same because of that scene. That scene is so effective because it shows such overwhelming empathy and humanity. It puts life into perspective so well.

Movie: Marked for Death
Screwface the remorseless predatory nefarious Kingpin sends his crew to shoot John's house which wounds a kid.

A terrific brutal violence movie that has brutal violence and breaking bones. Maybe the main inspiration was Predator, and Robocop except make it a Action movie with Syndicates selling narcotics with a badass character that was a DEA agent.

Cartoon X-Men: Episode Obsession
The sentient ship shown she has a choice because it has a woman voice helps the X-Men defeat Apocalypse by overriding the reprogram with Beast helping, and Apocalypse a ruthless remorseless nefarious monster is transported off the ship which is wrecked shortly after discovering and experiencing satisfaction, add in shown the ship is shown it has a choice thanking Beast, and it dies with Beast crying losing his new friend that no doubt he wanted to have her help him with his science and life problems as a co-worker, and a friend also show her what other good or great emotions she can experience.

I don't recall if I cried during the several times I've seen this episode but no doubt it's a colossal gut punch utterly heartbreaking, and somber so I know I was utterly somber.

Field of Dreams, when Ray asks his dad if he'd like to play catch.

The whole of Morgan Freeman's ending monolouge in Shawshank Redemption, especially the line "I hope to see my friend and shake his hand."
