BJ Coleman and the Mocs (merged)

The fact remains that most, if not all the UT fans I've talked to believe Coleman leaving hurt UT more than it hurt himself. Your team is a laughable 2-3 with one of the worst QBs to come around in a LONG time. That said, your stubborn coach refuses to make any changes. Your "opinion" is that of the minority referenced with the entire stadium boo'ing after every third down and Crompton. Is it worth sticking to your word and staying with Crompton even if it ultimately ruins your season?

I don't suppose those numbers could be skewed by the fact most, if not all, UT fans you've talked to are from the nooga area.

The lack of activity in this thread this weekend leads me to believe that the almighty Beej didn't lead the Mocs to a miraculous win against another IAA power this weekend? How's my aim?

Hate it for the Mocs. Losing Fitzgerald puts their season in the tank.

That being said. Mocs football has been something to be proud of this year. I'm happy for the program and their supporters.

Hear, Hear.

No matter where we stand on the Coleman debate, we can all agree this has been a great season for Mocs supporters.

And I'd like to personally congratulate all 9 of them on a really special season.

Not sure about the game or stats.

I did hear that Coleman threw for 934 yards and 11 TD's in the JV game.

Not that I really care but.....Last time I checked the Mocs were in the top 25 in the nation in FCS in attendance. Which is a huge turnaround from the 11 people that attended last season.

Dammit Willy. You're effing up my punchline, man.

Good point. An increase to 16 is a near 50% increase. That is a turnaround.

Are they counting opposition families by chance? That increase sounds exorbitant.

Not that it's here or there, but I thought the location of the original stadium was pretty cool... I wish they'd have refurbished the one on campus, but they didn't ask me..
