lol: you're right about feeling like you're sitting in bleachers at some high school... still, there's enough room on the west side that they could have closed it in and made something nice of it...Chamberlain Field had the appeal and charm of Red Bank Middle School field.

srsly, what's the point of building a UTC stadium 2 miles from campus in the middle of a fairly unsavory part of downtown... maybe they built it in anticipation of BJ?

I didn't realize UTC bought Engel Stadium. If they are not doing spring fling there anymore, does UTC have a baseball team?The worst part of it is UTC recently bought Engal stadium. That site or the parking area beside it would have been a much better spot for a college stadium.
I agree that they should have just refurbished Chamberlain. It is one of the oldest campus stadiums in America I believe.
