Thankyou. Glad somebody gets it and that it has nothing to do with getting some on the side or even leaving his teams in the middle of the night. In an age of people suing over anything you cannot have someone like Petrino running or representing your football program. No way he could be trusted, God knows what else he is capable of.

You may have lots of things on your head, but you have little in it.

I do believe you have to recruit but did he not rebuild Arkanas? Does that not require talent? If Dooley can consistently recruit a top 15 class, I am pretty sure Petrino can as well and he can make a heck of a lot more out of them Dooley

I heard Petrino drinks puppy blood in the moonlight while watching ajazeera tv. I even heard he has the heart of a child, in a jar on his desk. Is this for real?

If we actually believe that after everything that has happened to him, that he would not make smarter choices, then hire someone to keep an eye on him and put moral clauses in his contract. He realizes this is his last chance with a top tier program and I have to believe he will not screw it up.

Guys, there is risk with Petrino. I cannot deny it but I can assure you it has nothing to do with his results on the field. How many of our other choices can say that?

My point is he has never won a title or championship of any kind so anyone saying he is the best coach in football is crazy. But either way he will never be HC at TN so this is irrelevant. Obviously AD's of SEC schools agree with my arguement so that should settle it. Next subject!

Why would you hire a HC that you have to have somebody watching him 24/7. Anyway like I have already posted it doesnt matter he isnt a potential candidate here nor will he be at any other SEC school so these discussions are truely a waste. He will never get the chance to screw up here.

I wouldn't want that piece of crap anywhere near UT. He's an embarrassment and doesn't deserve to coach anywhere again, given all the bridges he's burned over the years...

Jason, let me back up and apologize. I have been doubting and disagreeing with you not realizing how plugged in you are to the actual decision makers around the SEC.

I hope that I didnt say anything that was taken as disrespectful by you. If so, please accept my apology.

See I am just a regular Joe. Kind of a nobody to tell you the truth, atleast compared to you.

I hope you can forgive as I knew not who I was speaking to.

One more thing, sir, if you wouldnt mind.... i would consider it something of an early Christmas present if you could give me just a little hint as to who the next head coach at the University of Tennesee will be.

Petrino is a scumbag. I literally have no respect for the man...and it has 1,000 times more to do with his actions at Louisville, his plane trips to Auburn, his letter to his players in Atlanta, and him defrauding the University of Arkansas than it does him cheating on his wife.

I don't think a HC has to be the authority on morality...hell, look at Saban...but I would at least like him to have some semblance of integrity. I'm not looking for Friar Tuck but is asking for someone who hasn't committed a crime against his previous employer too much?!? I don't think so.

The picture of Petrino in a neck brace at his press conference is worse than the picture of Dooley breaking his F'ING cane on the sideline last week.

When did the list of candidates get finalized? I didn't get the memo. As for other sec ad's agreeing with you, he was fired before the season started and I can assure you that he will be hired by an sec school. The only question is if Tennessee with miss the boat yet again.

You can bet Kentucky and Auburn will have him on their wish list. Know why?

No I havent but Finebaum had T.Barnhart on last week and has talked to Slive and others and said no SEC team will touch Petrino. The SEC AD's communicate as do they with Slive and Barnhard was told no AD would hire him and Slive preferred he wasnt hired. If that doesnt tell you all you need to know then....Again that wasnt my words it was TB's who has a little more insight as to whats going on than you do. Take it up with him, Slive or the AD's.

I don't really want him. I also view him as a scumbag.

That being said....if he comes here.....HE BETTER WIN. No other option.

I was disgusted when the Falcons hired him to begin with. Turned out to be justified. Last thing I want him doing is spreading his sewage around at my school.

Humm ok read my post about what Barnhart said and has discussed with a few guys and it was he who guaranteed AU, UT nor UK would touch him. So no I dont know and neither do you but he has good sources and a good track record so dont get your feelings hurt that he is a little more believable than you.

Really? why?

because AU flew him down to talk to them while Tubbs was still the coach?

if that was your reason at the time, then I suggest you appeal to Cheek that we fire DH should it come to light that he is speaking to other coaches right now be it directly or indirectly.
