BOISE WINS...again

Yeah, home and homes with Oregon Oklahoma, a date with two time defending Big East champ Cincinnati is weak sauce.

I believe Ohio State and Nebraska are aso scheduled for UT. Boise's biggest problem is that they want to to be treated like a major program and negotiate on equal terms with schools like Ohio State and Florida when they have not earned that status. Boise talks a big game to play politics. As long as public opinion is their toughest opponent, I really don't think that they want to change that. It is certainly working in the polls.

I'm not completely sure what that sentence means, but I think that is what I was saying. Boise may try, but no other school has to care.

Right..Boise does what they can only do..play the teams that WILL play them and play the teams in their conference.
no other teams have to care.
BUT now they are ranked #2 in the nation..#2. if the season ends today..they play for the national championship. You would think that some of these teams that "don't care" might be a little upset that a team from Idaho that plays in a weak conference and plays overrated OOC teams is playing for THE WHOLE PACKAGE while the teams that don't care get sent to the music city bowl.
These teams that "don't care" need to prove they are worthy enough and better instead of crying "why are they #2? we are better!" prove it.

Yes, it is. One game a year is weak. And Cincy, really, that's your argument. Try harder.
Stop being ridiculous. Tennessee plays in the SEC and has to play Alabama every year. Boise is in the WAC. Home and homes with Oregon and Oklahoma in a five year span is more than enough.

When UF and Alabama are your two main rivals, you'd be crazy to schedule two contenders on your OOC in a year.

I don't disagree with you at all. If I were the UT AD I would do the same thing. All my previous posts should explain my argument. I don't wanna type all that again.

This started about Boise, not UT. It's not fair to blame Boise for their schedule. That is my original argument. The NCAA has shut non qualifying conferences out of the money pot. A playoff wouldn't fix it either. It's not about just Boise, but business in general.

Because no one will play Boise.

Manure. They'd have a lot more takers if they would accept the fact that they have zero to offer and that they are not an Ohio State or Alabama. I wouldn't schedule them either if they want to be paid to come like UT-Martin and want the respect and negotiating power to set terms of a school like USC.

That's a fine internet response. Please take your own advice. Also, my wife has bigger boobs than your wife, therefore, your argument is invalid.

Go ahead and holster that e-peen, there, cowboy.

Boise can't get games with elite competition because they have ridiculous demands, there are links to it on this board. Feel free to Google it yourself if you don't believe me.

If Boise wants to play elite competition, they are going to have to take the two for ones or freebies on the road. Tough crap if they don't. They can go ahead and sit out of the title game every year if that's how they're going to play it.

#2 in the nation.....seems to me like Boise doesn't need to play "elite" competition.

What's an e-peen?

Check the rankings again in a few weeks...Boise will be where they belong, outside looking in. They play a bunch of patsies from here on out.

I will await your response of how Nevada and Hawaii are power houses.

the ball is in the other schools hands.

Which is exactly why I said they probably don't want to change the current situation. Their best chance is to keep the current money train rolling. They have everyone convinced that they are some underdog that everyone is afraid of and discriminates against and they only have to play one or two decent teams per year. I believe that this is the year that we finally see what a top BCS school does when they aren't overlooking Boise as the team they got stuck with while wishing they were in the title game. I predict that it will not be pretty.
