You call that "going all in."

... ridiculous. I said about 70% of it was accurate. That's hardly all in.

... ridiculous.

I didn't say they were impeding. I implied that Graham's focus on Mueller and his probe has clearly shifted. They are trying to proactively defend against any of Mueller's findings by discrediting the Steele dossier. This is definitely a clear cut example of partisan politics and it's disappointing to see it from Graham. I expect it from a lacky like Devin Nunes. I thought Graham was above this - I guess not.

Again, that is hardly all in...

And in the last few years, I have only been critical of how it was funded. You will of course leave that out.

That is not true. Post something which shows that I "was all in on the Steele Dossier."

You are lying.

Bro, you’ve got a bad case of denial. You got trolled for YEARS about this imaginary story that Trump was a foreign asset. Every few days there was a new “development” that was going to expose Trump as a foreign agent or something like that. None of it made any sense, but you dutifully pushed it all right here.

No, you were not reasonable, discerning, or thoughtful about any of it. You were all in and truly believed all the BS you pedaled. You got taken for a ride.

As for the dossier, you used it as support for enough of your claims about Trump here that it was clear you believed most of not all of it.

If you don’t remember your support, here’s a post of yours:

A Timeline of Treason: Obama, Clinton, & the Deep State

How many booze filled nights did you spend watching Maddow and then posting on VN? More than I handful that I recall.

Stop with the denials. You got suckered. You got used. The entire TrumPutin narrative was pushed the way it was for people like you. So spare us all your favorable rewrite of your own history here. The AJ of the TrumPutin thread 🤣

I said 70% of it was accurate.... LOL.

You are lying and this post even shows it.

And what wasn’t accurate you just made up…
I spent very little time talking about the Steele Dossier ... and what they won't show you is that I have been critical of Hillary Clinton and the DNC for funding it. About all they can point to, is that I said 70% of it was accurate ... and that was the rough estimate of Time.com .... not MSNBC.

No, I did not.

I could do this all day if I needed to. There’s PLENTY of it.

Strange behavior for a person who now wants to distance themselves from the TrumPutin nonsense.

I noticed you liked the post above from the loon VolProf: “Never thought I'd see the day that somewhere around a quarter to a third of Americans openly defend treason because they hate the other set of Americans even more.”

This is not normal: Trump's tweet storm

@BowlBrother85 to @hog88 : “He took it to the FBI.... and the dossier wasn't crap.”

Why not just admit you got fooled and were too quick to believe what you wanted to be true?

I said about 70% was accurate ... and that appears to be close. I was also frequently critical of it. You are completely leaving that out.

When I'm critical of Trump over Putin and Russia ... it is mostly either from the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting or his publicly siding with Putin's denial of Russian cyberattacks.

So all of this back and forth is because you took issue with me saying you were “all in” but you really are only 70% in? Is that what I’m understanding?

You know you have cherry picked my posts. I really haven't discussed the Steele Dossier that much .... and I have been critical of the Hillary Clinton Campaign and the DNC for funding it and not properly disclosing it in campaign finance reports. I have also pointed out their fines from the FEC.

When I'm critical of Trump over Russia ... it's not because of the Steele Dossier.

I wasn’t in the Russia threads. So I can’t speak to @BowlBrother85 ’s behavior and tone at that time.

But I’m sure he was measured, discerning, and deliberate with any comments and contributions.

What I do know is that I chased him for 3 days trying to get a “yes or no” on collusion. He refused answer. Best I could get was a hotel meeting was a “collusive effort” lol.

So are you taking issue with the poster because, by your estimation, they searched the internet and found information that supports their assertions. They then used multiple links in one reply to portray a level of thoroughness in supporting their assertions. But the posters investigating and assertions are somewhat dishonest in your opinion because they didn’t consider the data that counters their claims, instead they just stubbornly keep going back to the links they provided. Almost as if they are married to their narrative instead of considering the whole story.

Is that your issue?

When did you change your mind?

Here you say “so what” when @volinbham points out it was funded by Hillary’s campaign…as long as they used a middle man and didn’t pay the Russians directly. You can follow that back a bit and find yourself in full defense of the dossier and it’s use by the Clinton campaign.

You also pump up Steele’s bonafides in the exchange: “Christopher Steele is a former British Intelligence Officer who worked for M16 and is a founding director of Orbis Business Intelligence based out of London and he is also not an enemy of the United States.”

Better put your waders on, because the **** is getting deep in here.

I 100% KNOW for a fact that BB was not casting shade on that dossier. He was fine with it and happy with the fruits of the lie. Went on for years.

Perhaps he hedged his bets once it was clear that the dossier wasn’t going to hold up, but for years that wasn’t the case.

He got taken for a ride. If it was on Maddow, he was over here telling us it was absolutely true.

Most of us, if we’re being honest, have at some point been “taken for a ride”.

I know I bought some crazy conspiracies, and made subsequent ridiculous posts in support of those conspiracies in the FF… but I mostly blame @Grand Vol for that.

I hope no one goes and bump any of those!

Yeah. Best to just admit it when you were wrong. No one bats a thousand in this forum. Especially when the media sinks their teeth into an issue like Trump-Russia, Covid, etc.

Not sure why anyone would listen to Madcow though. She’s an activist, not a journalist.

The truth is I've never wasted much time talking about the Dossier. There are much better points of criticism to be made about Trump's handling of relations with Russia.

When I have spoken about it, I have been critical of it as well.

OK well I could keep refuting your claims with your own words, but I can see it’s not going to change your mind.

Goes back to exactly where you chimed in on the discussion with LG: self awareness.

And like I said, I can see why you got a little sensitive about the topic.

Curious. How do you explain Trump's affinity for Putin?
