Maybe best TE in the country. But he is not the best player. We keep Milkman Stetson on his back he can’t get the ball to Bowers. Bowers can have all the yards he wants if no one else does. Let me see other players stats that we won.
LSU- Daniels - 300+ yards
UF- AR15- 515 total yards
Bama- Young- 455 yards, Gibbs- 151 all purpose yards.
What I’m trying to say. Is that 1 player over a 100 yards is not enough to beat UT. Bowers don’t play defense like any of the others above. We are going to be just fine.

I appreciate Bowers' ability to snag an errant ball before it hits the ground, but it's still a little like Mark Farner of Grand Funk hitting an E chord on the guitar and holding it up for the crowd to cheer as if he'd just played the Stairway to Heaven solo with one hand.
He needs better than this to lay claim to best player in all of football. :)

Just watched the game from last year. We left a lot of points on the field. We've upgraded across the board on offense. I think our defense is better across the front 7 too. We will beat UGA.....they lost a lot on defense.

Unless Hooker has a bad day, I don’t see it. Bama is every bit as good on defense. Hell sack numbers would put them as better. Georgia will blitz it won’t work and they’re screwed. We just can have mental mistakes on offense. Bennett just isn’t going to win in a shootout.

Ya'll don't be offended by this.

Brock Bowers is clearly the biggest freakish talent in all of college football and you can make an argument that he's the best player based on that.

Doesn't mean that's a slight to our stars.

He and Washington are gonna probably make us look silly a few times.

Hopefully Hooker, Tillman and Hyatt will make them look sillier
