If we win tomorrow and aren't a three seed, the whole thing is corrupt.

No way Tennessee should be anything less than a 2 seed, that's ridiculous.

Look at our record, q1 wins, sos etc

In fairness to Lunardi, he’s just making predictions on what he thinks that the committee will do, not what his bracket would look like. But he has never been very accurate when it comes to seeding.

He’s neither. He doesn’t use the eye test. He uses the “big brand” test. If he was a metrics nerd, he’d have no justifiable reason to have Duke, Kentucky, and Auburn over Tennessee.

Lol I’m watching ESPN right now and they are literally saying it’s not a big deal that teams like Baylor, Auburn, Duke, or UK lost. Literally no one is bringing up UT which is hilarious because we are 3-1 vs the two teams they are still pushing our of the SEC.

I’m watching ESPN too, have they shown highlight of our game? They were showing highlights of a game that is still going on.. UCLA/AZ, and I tuned out

Just watched the same thing. Called out Farnham on Twitter asking what they even look at to form their opinions because Tennessee has every right to be ahead of Duke and Kentucky.

I was listening to that segment, too. ESPN might call themselves the “worldwide leader of sports” but they provide such pitiful, surface level insight. Saying the SEC only has two teams that can win it all and including Auburn as one of those teams and not Tennessee is just lazy, lazy, lazy.

Tennessee never gets respect from ESPN in any sport, so it’s not surprising. I mean hell ESPN had a headline already written about TAMU/Kentucky in the finals after our win and didn’t change it.

It’s whatever. Tennessee fans know we’re the real deal. This team thrives on having a chip on their shoulder. Keep the disrespect coming.

I’ve saw a highlight or two on ESPN but they mainly talked about “UK fighting their way back but came up just short”...

The nasty secret is probably this: despite all the things that folks are saying here about metrics that are absolutely correct and that we should be a 2, I'll just bet that without today's win over KY we would have been announced as a 4 tomorrow. So what happened today was that by beating the Cats, we cemented a 3 and that is the best we are gonna get this year under current circumstances. Not sayin' its right, just sayin I've got a sneaky feeling that is what happened.

Our last loss was Arkansas and you would have though we lost to Div 2. We beat a top 5 UK the week before, and top 5 Aub after, not to mention beating a top 5 UK again, and yet not a single person at ESPN has bumped us up since then.

You go look at current brackets pal. Every one has us a 3 except SI which does have us a 2. Lose today and I'll just bet we would have dropped to a 4. If we are a 3 tomorrow, you'll know I was correct. Not fair for sure, but correct.

Everyone has us as a 3 right NOW after our win over Ky bro, except for SI. Listen, I hope we are a 2 but I have my doubts. If we beat A&M they will just say it wasn't a good metric win, thus no bump to a 2. We were a 2 one time, correct? It doesn't happen often.....its rare, and takes special set of losses by the blue bloods.
