Bray will never

rediculouse(spelling) statement. Based on arm talent alone I think he gets a chance. Now wether he is successful or not...who knows. there are a lot of variables in play. most of which depends on him. Whats between your ears is equally, if not more, important that whats between your shoulders. also, some of it is luck. ending up in the right situation with the right team is very important. either way, best of luck tb! he endured a lot while he was here and in my mind will always be a vfl. so long as he doesn't go work for that weezle at usc upon completion of his pro career.

a qb is 90% mental 10% physical.

did you really just say "when my nuts drop." You have no clue who i am and definitely not how old i am. Do you not think Bray would have strived with the defense Crompton had. If Bray had that defense he would be a first round selection in the draft no doubt about it.

did the defense make him fail at every game winning drive he attempted "son"

I'll bet Bray is reading this and thinking....."yea I made the right choice!"

Yeah...he did make the right choice and the BEST choice for the future of UT football....We'll be better off with either Worley or Peterman at QB...:salute:

Honestly I hope bray falls flat on his face. Worst era in Tennessee history he was apart of. I've had my love for tennessee qbs Manning, Martin, Casey, Ainge, hell even Crompton but Bray adiós. His production will be missed but he will not.
Why, he played for Tn for two bad coaches. I wish him nothing but the best- another Tn player in the NFL-why would anybody wish for any young man, 20 years old to fail.

im not arguing that he didn't fold under pressure, he did, but if we had a defense that could stop somebody, he wouldn't have had the pressure of having to score EVERY drive. That being said, we would have won more games, and people would be thanking Bray for what he did not bashing him "son."

Exactly. I hope he grows up and takes football more seriously, he has a special arm.

And nothing but great things happen to UT when you have a successful QB from Tennessee in the NFL. It's a great recruiting tool.

Go Bray! Go Vols!

This seasons crop of draftable q.b.'s is weak. Bray will be a 2nd or 3rd rounder, depending on U.T. pro day results and NFL combine results.

Should he return next season (1) the receivers will all be in experienced (2) New offensive system (3) crop of college draftable q.b.'s will be more populated (4) risk of injury to Bray.

Neither returning for his senior season or entering the draft early are good options but going to the NFL is the best of two bad options.

He is making the right decision based on his options. A 2nd or 3rd rounder is not likely to start anyway. He will sit behind Rivers at S.D. or will end up in K.C. He can learn the system and learn how to be an NFL q.b. and be a career journeyman or an occassional starter and earn a paycheck.

He made the perfect decision, if for no other reason, he will not have to put up with all these stupid negative posters on this board.

Bray is better than every QB on the JETS roster so do you really think he can only last 2 yrs?

There is no way Bray falls out of the top 45 picks[/QUOTE]

Are you kidding me?

Tebow WON 2 NC in college. Tebow beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in a playoff game in the NFL!!!!

Bray's biggest wins are against NC State, Vandy, Ole Miss, and Kentucky while padding his stats against pathetic competition from Buffalo, Akron, Cincinnati, etc...

Bray runs into his own lineman and fumbles against UGA with the game on the line. Now tell me--just examine the record yourself--what are Bray's stats against SEC competition? 12 or 13 ints vs. how many TDs???

I stand by my statements 100% and we will see if Bray is taken in the first 45 picks or not--heck fire--Bray may not even be taken until the 5th or 6th round! :salute:

Why would anyone even want to play for fans like this. You either cut a player down when he leaves for the NFL or boo them on the field when they have a bad game. He doesn't need to stay and learn a new offense, he is more than talented enough to make throws in the NFL. Why would a 21 year old kid turn down millions to waste time trying to beat Vanderbilt in a totally new offensive scheme. He never won the big games because we've had a terrible coach that established a losers mentality backed by the worst defense to step foot in Neyland. The only thing we need to worry about is why we spent over $10 million dollars so we can all learn a lesson in patience... again.

You have to remember, they are not Tennessee fans. If they were they would have some respect for our players. They have no respect for anyone, even themselves.

There wasn't that much hype for Bray. The only other team who wanted him was San Diego St. (I think). As for the other point you made, they only had one coach and had stability. My hat's off to Bray. I hope he does well.

:lolabove: Bray will be 10x the NFL QB Tebow will ever be, and it won't be that hard because little Timmy boy sucks as an NFL QB.

They were not good passers. Bray is a great passer. He will do well in the NFL.

He has a strong arm--and is not a great anything. But there's a reason Peyton is in the discussion for the greatest QBs to ever play in the NFL--and it ain't because of his arm strength--it's because of his brains!

And TB ain't got it above the shoulders plain and simple. TB will throw a lot of good-looking passes that end up as interceptions as he struggles to make an NFL team...and that will be the end...million dollar arm with 10 cent brain doesn't = long NFL career--:salute:

will someone tell me what Bray did on the field to make one think he is ready for the NFL other than having a cannon for a arm Ryan Leaf had a cannon for a arm also?

Some of you act like there is zero potential for growth. Look at the coaching staff Bray has been playing under. He absolutely has the physical tools to be a star at the next level, he just needs fine-tuning elsewhere. He'll be working with the best coaches in the sport and will be compensated to get better. Generally people mature with time. It's really not that hard to wish the guy luck. He stuck it out during the worst stretches in Tennessee football history. But I suppose this is the norm for our idiotic fanbase.
